The Matrix Trilogy eh, this one I'm gonna disagree with. The Matrix, sure, but the other two? they were suck fests IMO. Good list otherwise :40oz: 1revnrex 04-20-2008, 01:23 AM The Devils Rejects Deep Cover Porkys (All of them) American History X Caddyshack Dead Presidents 1revnrex 04-20-2008, 01:26 AM Natural Born Killers Army of Darkness Cheech and Chong (All of them) Fists of Fury Texas Chainsaw Massacre Gabberguy 04-20-2008, 06:34 AM godfather trilogy One flew over the the cuckoo's nest Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid Once upon a time in America La Confidential The Abyss The good, the bad and the ugly Once upon a time in the west 12 monkeys Train Spotting Requiem for a dream The Shawshank Redemption Laberinto del fauno The Straight story The Lord of The rings Trilogy + many more:p Gabberguy 04-20-2008, 06:53 AM Also; The Pianist Schindler's list The usual suspects Leon Snatch Big Fish Forrest Gump Magnolia Goodfellas American Beauty Lock, stock, and two smoking barrels hmm... The Matrix, sure, but the other two? they were suck fests IMO. Good list otherwise :40oz: +50 Ark2 04-20-2008, 11:23 AM +50 -51 the second one was awesome oh, and The Aviator 95whitepep 04-20-2008, 11:34 AM Rudy Hoosiers Fast Times at Ridgemont High ( You know the scene ;) ) Debbie does Dishes. "Felony Blowjob"...funniest thing I had ever seen. 95whitepep 04-20-2008, 11:36 AM The Aviator DiCaprioi's a fag. The only thing he was decent in was the Departed, and that wasn't even one of Scorsese's best Gabberguy 04-20-2008, 11:37 AM eh, this one I'm gonna disagree with. The Matrix, sure, but the other two? they were suck fests IMO. Good list otherwise :40oz: I agree... And the Aviator is entertaining, but its not really that good imo... Ark2 04-20-2008, 11:38 AM DiCaprioi's a fag. The only thing he was decent in was the Departed, and that wasn't even one of Scorsese's best I thought so too, until Gangs of New York. Now I think he's a pretty good actor. Ark2 04-20-2008, 11:40 AM I agree... And the Aviator is entertaining, but its not really that good imo... pssh! You got your 29 movies, leave me my one 95whitepep 04-20-2008, 11:41 AM I thought so too, until Gangs of New York. Now I think he's a pretty good actor. Gangs of new york....STF, thats the stupidest movie I have ever seen. Guess you'll buy into anything marketed your way. Glad I never paid any money to see that POS. Ark2 04-20-2008, 11:42 AM Gangs of new york....STF, thats the stupidest movie I have ever seen. Guess you'll buy into anything marketed your way. Glad I never paid any money to see that POS. Marketed my way? Not really sure what you mean by that, I just think that anything with Daniel Day Lewis is worth watching. What didn't you like about it? Gabberguy 04-20-2008, 11:45 AM pssh! You got your 29 movies, leave me my one Ok, thats fair I guess:p But I'm not gonna buy it :blah: czarofzar 04-20-2008, 11:54 AM Fast Times at Ridgemont High ( You know the scene ;) ) rabbit food with handle bars? czarofzar 04-20-2008, 11:58 AM hey, which clint eastwood film where he tells a few hardy ranch hands to appologise to his horse or donkey? of course clint kills them in a few seconds later. Ark2 04-20-2008, 12:01 PM Tombstone Man on Fire Gangs of New York Narc 25th Hour wotnartd 04-20-2008, 12:12 PM Road House Supper 04-20-2008, 12:45 PM "For a Few Dollars More" is a far better movie ya know, I kind of agree. "For a Few Dollars More" surely has Clint getting more comfortable with the roll. But, you cannot argue that the epic scene when he is wearing the cast iron stove door has gone down into history as classic. Or how about killing the guy with the wine cask? Or the graveyard scenes? Now, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, thats a whole different level of awesome. But, IMO Fist Full just has enough elements of all the "Man with no name" films to tip the scales towards the one I would choose. Hell, we could get further into it by going on about The Outlaw Josey Wales, Hang em High (dun dun dun, hang em, dun dun dun, high, dun dun dun, hang em, dun dun dun, high, *whitsling*), Kelley's Heros, Where Eagles Dare, High Plains Drifter, Pale Rider, Unforgiven, etc. But I digress. Supper 04-20-2008, 01:08 PM Eastwood made a nice living out of rehashing these roles that someone else invented for him (he should be thanking Leone) indeed. Queen 04-20-2008, 01:30 PM the Mad Max-es !! Supper 04-20-2008, 02:19 PM Lets refine this a little bit; you cannot just list an entire series, that would fill up the list too fast. It has to be what you consider "The Best" from that series. Ark2 04-20-2008, 03:00 PM The Great Escape Queen 04-20-2008, 03:03 PM Lets refine this a little bit; you cannot just list an entire series, that would fill up the list too fast. It has to be what you consider "The Best" from that series. but that's sort of bullshit when it comes to series that are all one continuous story and more or less equal (LOTR, SW), no? I'll admit this isn't true as much for MM, but I like the first and second equally, for different reasons.. I don't compare them to one another Gabberguy 04-20-2008, 03:06 PM I agree... And its hard to choose a favorite from the Lotr trilogy, or The Godfather one and two (the third is not that great...) Ark2 04-20-2008, 03:08 PM Godfather part 1 and 2 are a must. LOTR can count as one, same for Star Wars (maybe two if you break episodes 1-3 and 4-6 up). 1revnrex 04-20-2008, 03:19 PM I think Randall sums up LOTR in Clerks 2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wB1KfbubSow Gabberguy 04-20-2008, 03:21 PM Sin city Predator City of God Torque (jk:p) Eternal sunshine in a spotless mind The entire Alien quadrilogy Gabberguy 04-20-2008, 03:23 PM Lost in translation (!!) Queen 04-20-2008, 03:23 PM Godfather part 1 and 2 are a must. LOTR can count as one, same for Star Wars (maybe two if you break episodes 1-3 and 4-6 up). Star Wars is two, because 1-3 are not going on this list Ark2 04-20-2008, 03:29 PM ok good Ark2 04-20-2008, 03:35 PM at over 80 now, btw Gabberguy 04-20-2008, 03:37 PM Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy Ark2 04-20-2008, 03:42 PM Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy Really? All three of them? There's only so much of Johnny Depp running in drag that one can take. Gabberguy 04-20-2008, 03:48 PM Really? All three of them? There's only so much of Johnny Depp running in drag that one can take. Hehe.. See the first, wait a year, see second, then one more year and see the third;) I actually like Depp as an actor and they are good movies imo. And you should add Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas to the list :) Plus Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway Gabberguy 04-20-2008, 03:50 PM And Finding Neverland.. wotnartd 04-20-2008, 04:47 PM stop with the gay movies. No one has mentioned "The Professional" either. Supper 04-20-2008, 08:18 PM No one has mentioned "The Professional" either. Post #9, "Léon" (http://imdb.com/title/tt0110413/) AKA "The Proffessional" Tofuball 04-20-2008, 08:29 PM One of my favorite movies of all time is Dark City.
