David Letterman has explained his situation last night on The Late Show.
Most of you have seen it live. I for one saw it this morning in the news. I am sure some of you have seen it as well and in the papers.
The audience laughed nervously,not knowing if it was fact or fiction.
Any comments ?
Was it a good idea to address the dilemma, Letterman's way ?

Well at least he was upfront about it. That way he diffused a lot of criticism that would have come his way had he tried to hide it. That being said he is Letterman, he will milk this thing for all it's worth and his ratings will only go up.

So he did do the right thing, but probably for the wrong reasons.

maybe he organized the whole thing in a ploy to boost ratings.
