$100T2 12-12-2008, 08:41 PM We had some serious (for us) flooding this morning, to the point they were actually closing roads. I hit this today before they closed it. It was about 18 inches deep at it's deepest, the Expedition just laughed and plowed through. All the sedans and minivans were stuck on the side of the road though. :D czarofzar 12-12-2008, 08:44 PM hehe i hope the sand bags arent needed wonner 12-12-2008, 08:55 PM George Bush doesn't care about white people. Tofuball 12-12-2008, 09:38 PM I was in a stuation like that with my RX-7 Convertable. I went around all the other cars (even lifted trucks, for shame) and nailed the water at about 40mph on the far right (it was flowing right to left) I hydroplaned over halfway across before I heard/felt the water hit the bottom of the car, I made it almost all the way across and was starting to sink slightly and then the front subframe nailed a rock, the front of the car pitched upwards and I made it! Woot. Stanello 12-13-2008, 02:01 AM I was in a stuation like that with my RX-7 Convertable. I need to figure out what is causing my jeep to stall when it gets wet. It's something on the exhaust side which means some sort of sensor. Herschel 12-15-2008, 11:17 PM sucks for you guys... It's something on the exhaust side which means some sort of sensor. Had that happen on a Jetta once. It would only do it during a heavy down pour, going through an automatic car wash, or driving through a big ass puddle. It turned out that there was a small crack on the side of the coil pack and when water would hit it, it would arc and cause the motor to stall.
