Supper 06-30-2007, 04:29 PM Man, it really sucks. Found out today that my knife maker of choise is all the way up to a 20 month wait time on knives. Almost getting as bad as Randall knives, and you can't find these on the market anywhere pretty much except for straight from the maker. Thats what happens whenever you find a quality product I guess. J_R 07-01-2007, 11:55 AM and which maker would that be? Supper 07-01-2007, 12:08 PM and which maker would that be? why should I tell you? Just so you can bump his wait up to over 24 months? :screwyou: His name is Gene Ingram and his knives are fucking amazing. J_R 07-01-2007, 12:44 PM ah I have been looking at his knives for a little while, ever since I got my Charles May. You can try, bout the only guy I have found that sells May/Ingram knives somewhat regularly. http://www.michiganknives.com/ Supper 07-01-2007, 05:16 PM ah I have been looking at his knives for a little while, ever since I got my Charles May. You can try, bout the only guy I have found that sells May/Ingram knives somewhat regularly. http://www.michiganknives.com/  I ordered the bottom knife on the Ingram page two days ago from Bill @ Michigan Knives. I have three knives on order from Ingram that are supposed to be delivered next march and was going to put another six on order until I found out April 09 would be delivery date. But man, does his new slip joint folder look saaaweeeeeeet. I have emails in to Charles May (I like a few of his designs) and Winston Knives. But, from what I've been hearing, Charles May is a bit hard to get ahold of to order. How did you get ahold of him? Phone? Email? Telepathic link? Supper 07-02-2007, 05:44 PM Fuck... Charles May is even at a 10 month wait. Supper 07-02-2007, 06:19 PM Oh well. Just put 2 Bird and Trouts, a CottonMouth, and a custom blend between a Lil' Friend and a CottonMouth on order for delivery next year. J_R 07-02-2007, 09:13 PM Well enjoy your wait:bigthumb: I got mine through Mich. knives, and was planning on getting one of Ingram's drop points but holy fuck I don't want to wait that long. Certainly are great knives though... I guess I should go get in line. Have any Dozier's? Supper 07-03-2007, 02:17 PM Have any Dozier's? nope, I don't much care for his designs. Supper 07-05-2007, 05:09 PM man, I've got a lot of bills coming up in ~ 10 months. Just put a custom bolt action rifle on order, going to be a shade under 8 months till delivery. 4 knives from Charles May due in 10 months, and 2 knives from Gene Ingram due somewhere in 8 - 10 months. Guess I better start saving my pennies. oakback 08-21-2008, 07:57 AM I want a folding knife from Stoney Creek Forge (http://www.stoneycreekforge.com/). My uncle makes all the stuff, owns and runs the place himself. I love the damascus steel blades. Supper 08-22-2008, 08:14 AM Hook a brotha up with one of those slipjoints homeboy! The knives mentioned in this thread were received ~ two months ago. They are way damn nice too. oakback 08-22-2008, 08:43 AM haha, he said he'd give me a family discount, but I'd feel fine paying full price. Tofuball 08-22-2008, 08:58 AM Pix or it didn't happen. J_R 08-23-2008, 07:47 PM Pics, yes we need pics. http://img264.imageshack.us/img264/2263/pict0016ao7.th.jpg (http://img264.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pict0016ao7.jpg) I want a folding knife from Stoney Creek Forge (http://www.stoneycreekforge.com/).
