I've ridden in all of the latest Vettes. It feels like someone strapped a massive motor into a Cavalier and lowered it. The build quality is absolute shit, the materials are cheap as fuck, and the car feels like a 10lb turd with a big engine in it. Cool, they go fast. I'll never own another American car in my life however, because they truly are pieces of shit.

And yes, I have first hand experience with certain suppliers to back up my claim as to what cheap hacks they are.

I love the LSx powerband. Never been behind one blown, but I can imagine. It has the torque of a built 302, but doesn't die at 5000rpms. :)

And it also has double the horsepower that my car has. Match them up in that department and we'd be having a different conversation. I guarantee that an RS4 or M3 with similar power would smoke the Vette. They are the bargain basement of sports cars, and while the ZO6 might have impressive numbers I wouldn't be caught dead behind the wheel of one.

And a cars worth isn't measured by it's track time alone partner. The ZO6 could be the fastest car in the world, I still wouldn't drive it because General Motors are a bunch of fucking hacks. I actually have *experience* working with them, I know firsthand what shit quality their cars are, and how cheap the parts are that go into them. If I pay $70k for a car, I don't want the same sound system that a Cobalt has. Cheap parts, shoddy production, no thanks. I know that you think because you own one it is the absolute best, just like you think the ZX-10 is the best bike on the planet, or the Camry is also the other best car on the planet. There are better cars out there, and there are faster cars out there. If there weren't then people would be trying like hell to buy 15 year old FD's, yet they are not.

Yeah, but all it takes to get more power out of a Mustang is turn a few bolts. To get more power from a European car, you've got to do some serious wrenching.
