This gator was killed over the weekend on Toledo Bend....a fresh water lake that is 70 miles north of where we live.
It was 12 ft. 9" long and weighed 620 pounds. The guy and his girlfriend
shot the gator with a crossbow Friday at midnight and used rod and reel to
wear the gator down. They finally got the gator in the boat around 2 p.m. Saturday.
Welcome to the south ladies and gentleman. The tail meat makes the best steaks......tastes like chicken.
