jimlab 11-27-2005, 01:50 AM Yeah, it's amazing what Luke did with his parent's money in a very short amount of time. Didn't know you were a friend of his...
aznpoopy 11-27-2005, 01:58 AM i only know of him. i don't know him personally. if what you say is true, i suppose his parents must be into racing. he's got track experience from when he was a kid.
RB240 11-27-2005, 03:08 PM .... hrm...turbo charged....?
jimlab 11-27-2005, 03:51 PM he's got track experience from when he was a kid. There are plenty of supportive parents out there. However, there are very few 22 year olds who would dumb enough to claim they made an ambiguous "lucky investment" and have a $690k house nearly paid off in only a couple years, or with such a financial burden, would claim to have quit their job to work full-time on building a drift car. A background check proved he owns no property and someone who knows him well said that it was all a front and that his parents pay for everything. Basically, he's just another JoeD, but white. :D
The car is mean, no doubt, and seems to be well done, but I'm not impressed by someone who bought everything on mom and dad's credit cards and didn't have to work a day during the several months he took to finish it.
jimlab 11-27-2005, 04:09 PM .... hrm...turbo charged....?Nope. Just an LS1 with a cam, as far as I know.

i can agree with that whole heartedly. i didn't know he made those kind of claims. sounds pretty ridiculous to me...
OneFast7 06-13-2006, 11:31 AM Isn't that car 4 sale, never saw a Ls1 FD in action, i have 2 fd with blown engines, don't know if i could go that route. Would like to see a drag race with a LS1 FD vs FD rotary of same power.
1wide7 06-23-2006, 04:04 PM i thought about the ls1 swap but then i got my single turbo and the ls1 was out the window
