yeah, we have reflective white stickers like on police cars. I have two questions for you... How much of a difference did the H4 light conversion make and do you want to race?

no he doesnt, his tiburon just came back from iraq and has lots of war wounds :)

Oh, and a family of mice lived in the rear hatch for the duration of the trip.

Thanx for the welcome ppl. As for racing, ha. I was unfortunately doomed with an Automatic Prelude, so til I get some juice, i'm only racing ppl that I can normally compete with. As far as the H4 conversion goes, I can light up the road at night. It looks waaaaaaaaay better than the regular halogen sealed beams that come with my car. Only cost me 29 bux from procarparts.com and about 30 mins of my time. I'll post pics tomorrow of the H4 Lights, gauges, and some other stuff when the car comes back from gettin painted.

You probably have seen me on campus. First semester I had a Red Prelude (89 Si) and it got totalled. Then I pulled out my backup 89 Prelude Si and it was dusty white, ha. I had a nice system so if you heard me, chances are that was me.

COsborne, I do plan on gettin a 5th Gen Prelude as soon as I get some $$$ or either a 240SX, then i'll be ready to take on the RX-7.

oh yay... competition...I like competition as long as they buy their parts through illstreet :)

My sound setup is:

Head Unit: Sony CDX-860 L3 Cube
Subs: 3 Sony P5 12"s
Amplifier: Sony 1600GSD 1000w Amp running at 1.3 Ohms

SPL 146.8, and that was sealed, ha

Currently planning on selling possibly, so if you know anybody, tell them to make an offer, except for my head unit.

what exactly is a 180sx? ive only seen a 200sx and 240sx. is it smaller than a 200sx?

here's the breakdown, and this is the simple version just to visually identify the car.

and please feel free to correct me if im wrong

silvia = 240sx coupe

180sx = japanese version of the 240sx fastback.

200sx = australian silvia

I think it's possible to have a decent sounding system without spending 2 grand. I have roughly $600 in mine, I've had it for quite some time so it's older stuff compared to what u can get now, but I think it does pretty good for what it is.

I have yet to purchase any stereo equipment. The way i see it, and this is just for me, I'd rather save up for more functional mods.

Maybe one day i'll pick up a cd player though, lol that would be nice ........

My car was a special services car without a stereo system. The guy I bought it from had an expensive CD player with only one cheap speaker running. I installed 4 MB Quart speakers. It even sounds good on the highway with the windows down so Im happy.
