How about this. Mod the DSM with things that are actually mods. I do not consider gauges to be "mods".

They're supporting mods. The boost gauge takes the place of a horrendously inaccurate factory gauge. The EGT and A/F ratio gauges keep me from blowing up the car.

I say bike, especially with gas prices as ridiculous as they are. I've been looking at one just to get to/from work (a Ninja 250R can get 60-70mpg supposedly and only runs $2999 new.....good beginner bike too).
