wrecks are the root of many bad memories for a lot of people. The cars that we have spent countless hours tuning, maintaining, and pouring lots of money into, get crunched up into unrecognizable hunks of steel and plastic.
heres my story- i cut a corner up near lake bowen and hit a dirt wall. i misjudged the turn and dropped my left front tire off at the apex, hit somethin on the shoulder, and my entire strut assembly went through the strut tower and my hood flew up. my car cut to the right at a 90 degree angle and i had no time to make any kind of correction. i hit the hill at about 30-35 mph head on. my right hand hit the windshield and when i looked at it after i got out it looked like somebodies head had hit it. air bags hurt....really bad. i got CO2 burns all over my arms and a black eye. th strut tower brace came through the fire wall. all in all i did the old Red Streak in pretty well, but i walked away. i need to get a diff kind of car b/c i havent had too much luck with the jettas ive had. we should start a ''How many wrecks have you had/how bad were they" topic.

me, i've had 0. only thing that i've got against me was a speeding ticket about 2 years ago.

I totaled my first Z my sliding off the side of a mountain....

1.younger you rearended the 98 v6 stang out at westgate. around $500
2.totaled the 91 4-cyl slid into a lot of trees at a pretty good rate of speed. paid $2000 sold for $800. didnt report to insurance.
3.old guy hit my rear quarter. i almost avoided him but he was hauling ass. $1100
i think thats it.

someone in a FC slid off the interstate in the rain and hit the retaining cables. i helped them get it unstuck and got soaked a while back. was that anyone on here?

I have had 2. I was rearended in my old Mazda leaving school one day, and an old man pulled out in front of the Stang going to school one day. I need to stay away from school.

Ive had one, in my 93 Accord. I was hurrying home from the SATS, with my music up loud, driving quick, and i went to change lanes and didnt see a Montero in my blind spot. My mirror hit the side of her car barely, but i heard/saw the car, and braked, and when i slowed down the mirror slid down the side of her car, leaving a gold stripe. All that was gone on my mirror was a section of paint about the size of a dime, and she never took out an insurance claim, i guess ive been pretty lucky so far... knocks on wood.

Hit a tree with my old 88 toyota truck....(totaled, truck drove side ways like a crab)

Me and Chris rolled my first 300zx several times....(severely totaled)

Got rearended in my Mustang by a dodge ram....(totaled but drivable)

Got rearended in the 240, ran over, and side swipped most recently.(totaled, you guys saw pics)

i heard a rumor a while back about someone flipping a 300zx it into the ingles parking lot while slalloming the reflectors in the road..i cant remember from who or when i heard that though, was tha to you stegall?
