BATMAN 03-17-2006, 12:19 PM That's the USA debt.
Can you really "think" to how much $9 trillion dollars is? Can you quanity what it can buy you?
I think this is one reason the gov't can get away with it, people really don't understand how much money it actually is. Sure, you can think "with $10 million i could live this life style and buy these things"
But no living person on earth can think to what a massive amount of money that it is. Anyone else agree this is part of the problem?
$9 trillion = $9,000 Billion = $9,000,000 million (9 millions of million) = a shit load.
It's not hard, you just have to think of it in different terms.
$30,172 for every person in America
Manntis 03-17-2006, 02:10 PM in other words, a shitload of debt.
As Jon Stewart said last night "Bad grades? Don't study harder, kids, just change the grading scale to go to K. That way your F will look more like a D!"
Canadian per-capita debt, including all federal, provincial, and average municiple debt is $25,000 CDN per person. The federal debt by itself is $18,400 CDN per person
SpartanTS 03-17-2006, 03:02 PM That's a lot of $$$. Since we're already $9 trillion dollars in debt, I say TFL asks for another trillion. They won't miss it :beerchug:
A government teacher I once had explained that the national debt somehow gave our national balance a steady value because we owed money to ourselves. Lots of foreign countries... the value of their money changes hourly.
Keep in mind that the actual ratio of debt to GDP of this country is below 10%. How many of you carry more than 10% of your annual income in outstanding debt?
The opportunity cost of carrying less than 10% of your income (as the USA does and has been doing for decades) is interest, obviously. However if the usage of that borrowed money causes income exceeding its interest, it is a money making situation and worth having.

Tofuball 03-17-2006, 08:51 PM Sweet. Who wants to lend me 9 tril?
rodney87 03-17-2006, 10:28 PM Hell, with 9 trillion dollars I could.......WIN a war :dunno:
Say No To Pistons 03-18-2006, 03:51 PM i wanna swim in money.
jimlab 03-18-2006, 04:27 PM here comes the next world superpower: the E.U.
You're barely intelligent enough to tie your own shoes, but we should take you seriously where world economics and politics are concerned?
Sure Mark, whatever you say. :bigthumb:
jimlab 03-18-2006, 04:38 PM Whatever you say, Dr. Doomsday.
Cosby 03-18-2006, 06:13 PM I'm worried about the EU taking over our position. Fortunately they don't have the resources we do.
RX7_2ner 03-18-2006, 07:21 PM russia > europe
Manntis 03-18-2006, 10:03 PM The EU is too hampered by beurocracy and old politics to take the #1 spot. China or India will be the next economic superpower, and China has the bang-sticks to continue the tradition of gunboat diplomacy traditionally weilded by superpowers.
jimlab 03-19-2006, 12:29 AM wrong
the Bible clearly statesO... M... F... G...
Manntis 03-19-2006, 12:41 AM wrong
the Bible clearly states, despite internal conflict, that the key 10 nations of old Rome will receive power with the Beast for the first 3-1/2 years of the peace treaty with Israel
and your opinion about the future is worthless
oh, the past 15 years of economic shift is 'opinion' now? The fact that China has built tens of thousands of miles of new freeway and has become the worlds second largest consumer of oil, steel, concrete, etc. is opinion? That it has a large standing military and the ability to call reserves greater than all of NATO combined is 'opinion'?
BTW ancient Rome included North Africa and much of the middle east. So is one of the 'signs' when Arab nations join the EU and sign a peace treaty with Isreal? Or when Tunisia becomes a global superpower?
Manntis 03-19-2006, 12:46 AM The 'core' of old Rome was Rome - a city-state.
jimlab 03-19-2006, 12:49 AM the 10 nations, comprising the "core" of old Rome, will arise to power from within the structure of the E.U....they will not be revealed or "given power" until the Tribulation beginsSure... but which cards will they play, Yu-gi-Oh?
jimlab 03-19-2006, 01:19 AM Rome is the seat of antichrist's power
the 7 final nations (3 are booted out) give their allegiance to himWhen the Moon is in the Seventh House,
And Jupiter aligns with Mars,
Then peace will guide the planets,
And love will steer the stars.
Manntis 03-19-2006, 01:20 AM When single shines the triple sun
What was sundered and undone
Shall be whole, the two made one
By gelfling hand or else by none
Manntis 03-19-2006, 01:28 AM There's that Christian humility again...
For all you know, Mark, I could be an agent of the Lord sent to test you. If so, you're score ain't very hot. But your destination may be ;)
jimlab 03-19-2006, 01:30 AM you loons are destined to bow at my feet
you know that, right? No, you'll likely work for me in hell.
jimlab 03-19-2006, 02:54 AM I won't be thereSure you will.
jimlab 03-19-2006, 03:08 AM how can someone who rejects the very Word of God lecture me about damnation?Easily. You've proven my case for me.
you will be IMMEDIATELY rejected at the judgmentDamn, I'll probably lose some sleep over that tonight...
$100T2 03-19-2006, 08:37 AM in other words, a shitload of debt.
How much is that is real money?
$100T2 03-19-2006, 08:39 AM you loons are destined to bow at my feet
you know that, right?
How the fuck will we bow at your feet? I thought the prophecy said all knees will bend to God. So now, you're God?
SpartanTS 03-19-2006, 10:26 AM How the fuck will we bow at your feet? I thought the prophecy said all knees will bend to God. So now, you're God?
I've come to the conclusion that he thinks that he is indeed, The Great One.
I wasn't expecting my thread about gas prices to turn into this shit, that's for sure.
BATMAN 03-19-2006, 10:31 AM you loons are destined to bow at my feet
you know that, right?
Why?
Didn't u have a problem with the Catholickers praying to Saints, virgin mary and the pope?
Ur certainly not any of them.
As a matter of fact, ur behaving more like the anti christ............ but just don't know it.
jimlab 03-19-2006, 11:55 AM So now, you're God?He gets confused. Speaking for God easily becomes "I am God", if you're none too bright to begin with. :D
jimlab 03-19-2006, 11:57 AM but Revelation 3 clearly states
‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”:“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earthSort of makes you wish it applied to you too, doesn't it? Too bad you're going to hell.
Say No To Pistons 03-19-2006, 11:59 AM *walks in...looks around..."awh shit not this shit again"...turns around walks out.*
jimlab 03-19-2006, 12:01 PM *walks in...looks around..."awh shit not this shit again"...turns around walks out.*Like you had anything meaningful to post anyway?
jimlab 03-19-2006, 12:33 PM sorry to disappoint youYou actually think you're exhibiting behavior worthy of admission to heaven, if there is such a place? Think again, pal.
I'm fairly sure that a true Christian wouldn't wish cancer on someone, and that's the least of your transgressions.
jimlab 03-19-2006, 01:15 PM my transgressions aren't your concernSure they are, since you're committing most of them in public.
you're an arrogant, self obsessed prick who routinely mocks God...you're damnedAnd you're an arrogant, self-obsessed prick who routinely presumes to speak for God.... you're damned too, pal.
Manntis 03-19-2006, 02:21 PM How much is that is real money?
Right now? Add about 10%.
Manntis 03-19-2006, 02:22 PM my "score" is 100%.....I believe exactly what God says...
Believe? Possibly. Apply to your own life? Not from your words and deeds in these forums.
jimlab 03-19-2006, 02:44 PM No, your behavior is the issue. What you believe is irrelevant.
jimlab 03-19-2006, 02:51 PM I'm judging you, and yes, you're a worthless piece of dogshit.
You're the least-liked member of at least two forums. That has to count for something, right?!?
jimlab 03-19-2006, 05:54 PM Then why are you so worried about what I have to say? Afraid others will see you for what you really are? Too late...
I'm not
but I will have the last word
and I'll be out of town for most of the week, but don't worry
lmao... pitiful.
rodney87 03-19-2006, 06:08 PM Wait, we get a week without him? This should be interesting
2ndGen.Rocket 03-19-2006, 06:22 PM my "score" is 100%.....I believe exactly what God says....you loons deny it, and, unless you change, you will be damned
it's that simple!
So what does the bible say about America? Last time I checked, the bible didn't even state anything America's existence.
Say No To Pistons 03-19-2006, 06:55 PM lol @ all these threads...zomg...
jimlab 03-19-2006, 07:09 PM empires rise and fallSo does the water level in your head...
