The Bible speaks of a special plant. "I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more." (Ezekiel 34:29) A healing plant. On either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare 12 manner of fruits, and yielding her fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (Revelations 22:1-2) A gift from God.

Biggups to JC and Big G, yo :bigthumb:

That still doesn't say that there isn't any truth in this matter...

One christian here seems to agree that the arguement of the good book condoning the use of God's own given gift to mankind (Naturally grown, mind you... No chemotherapy shit or anything like that) might hold some weight...

lol, interesting how different people can have varying interpretations of the same piece of work...

but tofu wasn't talking about that passage

certainly God does not promote intoxication with anything

Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.

:bigthumb:

Xept the one line where it says to give wine to a dying man.

So, like an alcoholic, you are intoxicated with the Spirit?
