im looking into buying a guys unused supercharger kit... just a mild 5-7psi
depends on how much fuel system shit ive got to get to make it work... i'll know for sure in a few days

well found out some stuff
id need more stuff than i can afford to make it work, and the kit he is selling is not good at all...

well, id need a 255lph walboro (~$110), the FMU while a ghetto way to do it, would work with stock injectors and 5-7psi.... but his kits junk tho, pure junk. &nbsp;tendency to sieze for no reason, very innefecent, and since paxton merged with vortech they no longer service them so there is no help for me WHEN the thing siezes on me

so after summer ill be looking at kits that arent junk plus bigger injectors and such so i wont need to use the ghetto-riffic FMU...

im thinking paxtons new Novi2000 or Vortech S or SQ trim... i wish paxton offered a silent drive on thier blowers, they produce about the same power at the same level of boost but with cooler intake charge temps..... the silent drive of the vortechs is the only real attractive thing, well that and theyre popular so finding a good used kit in good condition should be alot easier

what size are your stock injectors and you can get 255 Walbros for about $90

check into the procharger kits. they come with everything you need. i dont know if they come with 42 lb injectors or not, but i know they come with a fuel pump. u can get em for around $3000

the procharger kits for V8 mustangs have problems with oil seals.... the really attractive thing about them is thier air-to-air intercooler, but i can do the same thing with vortechs aftercooler thats air-water (not quite as good, but its easier to ice it down than a front mount air-to-air) and have a more reliable headunit that also makes better numbers (and is silent 2 seconds after startup <img src="http://www.illstreet.com/images/iB_html/emoticons/rock.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> )
the novi also makes better numbers than the procharger

stockers are 19lb/hr, but they take well to flowing much more than that with the fuel pressure jacked up... but its irrelevant now, as im going to be piecing together everything to make it work right and precisely... later on down the road when i also dont have to go into debt and get killed with interest

actually you can gain the same effect as the aftercooler by using nitrous express's n-tercooler kit. im sure uve seen it...where a bar w/a n2o line sprays the fins of the intercooler. that way if you want to race someone you dont have to be like wait wait lemme put some ice in right quick. procharger recently came out w/self contained units though didnt they?

i wont put a procharger on my car... theyre 3rd out of 3 in my book <img src="http://www.illstreet.com/images/iB_html/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> &nbsp;they make nice kits for other cars but theres something wrong with the V8 mustang kit and it is not worth my time, money and effort to deal with when i can be faster with another brand that wont fuck up....

id do heads/cam/intake first. &nbsp;boost is appealing at first, but id rather work towards a total package. never seem a stang run the chiller. price of vortech mondo cooler intake has dropped to around $500 from AFM.

ill be faster with this as i piece together a decent h/c/i setup instead of pos GT40 stuff (which is about all i could afford for the price id get an sq-trim setup for)

sytemax is ok... but it wont make the same kind of power as stock stuff + boost

i know someone who might be sellin an edelbrock intake. cant ever remeber which model it is though.a blower will give you more power than the bolt ons...but #### that engine will be choked. if u add a blower and the bolt ons later itd be totally different. serious kick in the ass then
