once, i saw a lady wearing a WWJD bracelet on each wrist. knowing what it stood for, i asked her anyways, 'what does that mean?'

She said "it stands for 'what would Jesus do?'...."

My reply was, "well, i can tell you what He would NOT do--He wouldnt walk around wearing those bracelets..."

And I am still trying to figure out exactly where in the Bible the Catholic church got the idea to put statues and pictures of Mary all over the place....but when it comes to Jesus, its pretty well understood that he didnt look like a caucasian man....and there's no way in the world that He had long hair....

I don't think you can really put the entirety of the blame on the Roman system for those damned souls. The RCC members are dragged off by their own carnal nature, willing to believe these lies rather then diligently seek the one true God.

Jesus looked like a Jew, and I believe he could have had long hair, since, as far as I know it was accepted practice to wear long hair and a beard (we know he had a beard)

I tend to believe the Shroud of Turin image is authentic, that's just my personal opinion, I could very well be wrong, and it has nothing to do with my faith...there was nothing attractive about the Man, as is often portrayed

well, we do know a few things at this point.

first, the best guess is that Jesus looked like your average person back then--that is, He didnt have any physically striking features, I would think that if something looked different about Him, then we would have read about it in the gospel. Isaiah 53:2---

He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him, nothing in His appearance that we should desire Him.

Second, we do know that Jesus didnt have long hair. For this, I took from Paul in 1 Corinthians 11:14-15---

Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him, 15but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering.

Paul spoke of it being a disgrace for a man to have long hair. And we also know from 1 Corinthians 9 that Paul did actually see Jesus with his own eyes. So, thats the only conclusion i can come to about the hair.

could be any length. i can imagine hair growing to their asses. maybe thats the length in question.
