I got an e-mail at work today, one of the annoying FWDs that everyone over 40 thinks is their duty to fwd to their entire address book. Basically it was about Jane Fonda, and when she was a reporter in vietnam during the war. It said that she was filming in a POW camp there, and all of the prisoners had written their ssns on small pieces of clothing, paper, whatever they could find and handed them to her as she walked by, to let their families know they were alive. She then, took all of the written ssns, handed them to the highest person in charge of the POW camp, and 3 or 4 soldiers were beaten to death, and a few others blinded/handicapped for life. I was just wondering... is that internet bullshit, or is there some truth to it?

Don't attack people over 40, You can attack ignorant people. But those emial forwarding chains were invented by Immaturity long before you knew what a computer was and they still propagate today......much to my aggrivation.
So let's recap. A bunch of 20 somethings back in the early 90s figured out how to forward a shitload of info.....which was somewhat amuzing the first 10,000 times one saw it. Fast forward almost 20 years and only the Internet Noobs still partake in the practice while the rest of us roll our eyes.
Then there is you that blames the "old" people. interesting. Understand, all the websites that debunk the "Bill Gates email Tracking device" were written quit a few years ago by.........some folks that may be your elders.
