Terrh 12-14-2008, 09:15 PM very nice, how much?
fcdrifter13 12-14-2008, 09:28 PM 4500$ a lil high but it was worth it IMO
Tofuball 12-14-2008, 09:45 PM Awesome!
Careful with the oil level now . . .
fcdrifter13 12-14-2008, 10:01 PM 3 gallons of Rotella T is already in it. I think it needs another.
Tofuball 12-14-2008, 10:13 PM Did you take it off any sweet jumps?
fcdrifter13 12-14-2008, 10:27 PM I almost did(seriously) I was going out old route 34 today and the road is slipping right outside of town. In the jeep you dont notice it, but in the miata it looks like a cliff.
Stanello 12-14-2008, 10:32 PM Nice car.
I've got a 95 that I've had for almost 3 years now. I've put around 60k on it with no problems. I've driven it cross-country 4 times, was my winter car in Ohio, autox'd quite a bit in it, been to Deals Gap 20+ times, etc.
Miatas are honestly THE most bulletproof car ever made. You should have alot of fun with it.
wotnartd 12-14-2008, 10:44 PM I've got an S2000 so I can't say much, but Miatas make me lol...I honestly can't imagine even less power in a girlie car
You know for $1000 it will murder your car (which hasn't changed since it first came out).
wotnartd 12-14-2008, 11:17 PM Every time I hit a nerve he goes in with the Tech nonsense. Every time.
Your S2000. You know, the car that screams, "I can't get laid, so I'll make up for it with this."
wotnartd 12-14-2008, 11:25 PM I could post up pics of what I did last weekend, if you would like.
I'll spare you the details, but it's essentially the pussy I pull because I DON'T drive an S2000.
Stanello 12-14-2008, 11:41 PM I've got an S2000 so I can't say much, but Miatas make me lol...I honestly can't imagine even less power in a girlie car
Uh ok.
Stanello 12-14-2008, 11:43 PM the S is also easily the superior track car to a Miata...engine, transmission, brakes, chassis rigidity...no contest...sure, you can throw a turbo on the Miata, but you can do the same with the S
Awesome.
You're cool.
wotnartd 12-14-2008, 11:46 PM the S is also easily the superior track car to a Miata...engine, transmission, brakes, chassis rigidity...no contest...sure, you can throw a turbo on the Miata, but you can do the same with the S
Which is why Mazda is the most used company when it comes to SCCA.
Turbo II Rotor 12-15-2008, 12:51 AM YZF has always got to have the biggest e-penis and he can't even use it. HA!
DeRFmAn 12-15-2008, 02:50 AM S2k's are heavy and over priced for what you get. Given the choice i'd take a Miata over a S2k any day....good buy. have fun with it. Don't let YZF's insecurities get to you.
Stanello 12-15-2008, 04:32 AM sure, they're cheap to purchase and mod....1+1=2, but the stock car isn't on any list of best track times for sport compacts, heck, the new Cobalt SS would smoke it
It isn't designed to be an all out track terror like the FD, and it isn't. I'm not sure why you feel the need to proclaim this when it's common knowledge to everyone else.
But it is great at being a lightweight, nimble, canyon carver and its a blast to drive fast in the curves.
Tofuball 12-15-2008, 11:45 AM If you put the cones close enough together, the Miata will win :P
fcdrifter13 12-15-2008, 08:57 PM I looked at a couple s2ks and they just were not me. I did not like how I sat in the car and the suspension was a lil to stiff for daily driving around here.
$100T2 12-15-2008, 10:48 PM stock for stock, guess which one turns the better lap times, by far, on any track you care to mention?
class dismissed...
Mark owns an S2000, so it must be the best. Everything Mark owns is the best. Everything he does is better than what anyone else can do.
Fuck, don't you guys know this by now???

DeRFmAn 12-16-2008, 12:55 AM No one cares what you think. ^^
$100T2 12-16-2008, 07:56 AM that's not the point, the point is this comment
The point is, you have a superiority complex, and you aren't superior to anyone. It's like a massive righteous little man/little penis Napoleon thing you've got going on. Your therapist must rip his or her fucking hair out dealing with you.
DeRFmAn 12-16-2008, 12:44 PM I've got an S2000 so I can't say much, but Miatas make me lol...I honestly can't imagine even less power in a girlie car
Ok, that is your first comment on this thread. So STFU, you made the first insult on this thread. Try again loser.
fcdrifter13 12-16-2008, 01:28 PM Meh i dont care. Miatas and s2ks share the same ideas. I fun lil car that is NA and RWD honda just went the next step I think, with this comes the extra price and the not so good for DDing in this state ride.
aznpoopy 12-16-2008, 03:46 PM what are your plans dawg
that's actually pretty cheap for the mileage. for some reason they hold their value pretty well.
fcdrifter13 12-16-2008, 04:07 PM Plans for the future
KYB AGX shocks
Ground control springs
Cusco camber plates
FM Butterfly brace
Pocket flares
Watanabe 8 spoke wheels
Corksport catback
Jackson racing header
and some cams
Tofuball 12-17-2008, 06:51 AM Plans for the future
KYB AGX shocks
Ground control springs
Cusco camber plates
FM Butterfly brace
Pocket flares
dinner and Go at Tofuball's place
Watanabe 8 spoke wheels
Corksport catback
Jackson racing header
and some cams
Sounds like a good plan to me!
fcdrifter13 12-17-2008, 09:26 AM maybe in the spring I will drive up and treat you all to lunch or something.
aznpoopy 12-17-2008, 11:06 AM bring it to drift nirvana in the spring and we'll chillax weeeerd
fcdrifter13 12-17-2008, 06:46 PM Time Date Place!!!!!!!!!!
fcdrifter13 12-21-2008, 09:52 PM So today I said fuck it, I'm going boost. Inthe morning I will be making the call to Good-win-racing to see just what I need to go along with the Big MP62 super charger they sell. probably a pump and injectors. 200 something HP would seem just so right in this car.
http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda-Performance-Part/61-0016.html
wotnartd 12-22-2008, 01:37 PM The sound of a super charger spooling would be mighty wicked on a Miata.
fcdrifter13 12-22-2008, 03:53 PM I am trying to break into the 2k range on this car so that means I myself have to go on a diet as well. The only bad things is that I am adding weight with the SC and the roll bar and bigger wheels. I still think i can hit 2k and still be pretty comfortable.
