They're way over rated. 12-26-2001, 10:13 PM If you consider that the majority of people buying Mustangs are purchasing them simply for the image of the Mustang (ask Ford, this is what they market) you can understand why the cheapest and least capable model is selling best. It is for this same reason that there are tons of SUV's on the road but very few of them are those more capable off-roaders, like Land Rover, and Hummer. Image is everything in a the US commercial market.
