Supper 10-22-2008, 11:11 PM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCtEJJDu5Wg&feature=related and to think, these guys are from Boulder... 1revnrex 10-23-2008, 12:35 AM Not to sound like a dick but I wasnt impressed. wotnartd 10-23-2008, 01:28 AM I just don't see the point... it's like a grown-up version of cowboys and indians. Except this time the indians are cardboard cutouts. 1revnrex 10-23-2008, 01:38 AM I dig Magpul though. wotnartd 10-23-2008, 02:11 AM What's a magpul? I like guns because of the mechnical side. If i want to kill, I'm using my kanify (knife). And I took some weird ass close quarters combat shit when at MTU. They taught me to kick ass with a blade. 1revnrex 10-23-2008, 02:45 AM Magpul is a company that makes weapons parts primarily but they are responsible for the design of the Masada which was picked up for mass production by Bushmaster. Just another platform for the 5.56 NATO but also interchangeable with the 7.62x39 by changing the barrel. Awesome gun, check YouTube for the video, Im too lazy to find it right now cuz Im shooting noobs in the head on 360. :) wotnartd 10-23-2008, 02:59 AM http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o304/wotnartd/IMG_3531.jpg tacked up on the bed side. Put ~15 degree edge on it, so it stays sharp until I look at it. Yuck up the Rambo knife thing, but the serations on the back side will desimate soft tissue, I know this as a fact. 1revnrex 10-23-2008, 03:12 AM No yuck up here, I have a Stainless Steel dive knife that looks similar minus the compass and what not. Good to have but hows it gonna help ya if someone shoots your hand off? ;) wotnartd 10-23-2008, 03:08 PM No yuck up here, I have a Stainless Steel dive knife that looks similar minus the compass and what not. Good to have but hows it gonna help ya if someone shoots your hand off? ;) Wouldn't it be stupid for a burglar to have a gun? They need two hands in order to burgle. DarkAngelKamui 10-23-2008, 03:39 PM Wouldn't it be stupid for a burglar to have a gun? They need two hands in order to burgle. Maybe they can utilize a wrist crossbow device... But no, it only takes one hand with a gun in it to burgle. The other hand is for holding the bag open when you tell people to put their valuables in it. Alex-7 10-23-2008, 10:29 PM LMFAO at that knife! 1revnrex 10-23-2008, 11:41 PM I cut you so bad, you wish I no cut you so bad!! wotnartd 10-24-2008, 12:04 AM LMFAO at that knife! When it's in your side you wouldn't laugh s hard.... okay I can't keep a straight face. That;'s a $6 Rambo knife from harboer freight that I occassionally jack off into. Herschel 10-24-2008, 12:24 AM Maybe they can utilize a wrist crossbow device... But no, it only takes one hand with a gun in it to burgle. On second thought....was that you that got robbed? DarkAngelKamui 10-24-2008, 07:14 AM Seeing this reminds me.....Did they ever catch the guy that robbed you? On second thought....was that you that got robbed? Yes it was me, and no they haven't (or at least they haven't told me). I've all but let it go, now (still looking for a personal defense firearm for the homestead). But if I change my mind for any reason, or I see that particular car again? Well, I DO still have all that information I forwarded to the cops about the home address that was called on my phone shortly after the robbery... dg123 10-24-2008, 11:47 AM I saw a few mistakes from the shooters in that video; reloading out of your covered position, changing position with no tactical reason to do so, and at least once, there seemed to be a lack of proper cover fire for the moving team member. Still though, looks like fun :) Supper 10-24-2008, 12:21 PM I saw a few mistakes from the shooters in that video; reloading out of your covered position, changing position with no tactical reason to do so, and at least once, there seemed to be a lack of proper cover fire for the moving team member. Still though, looks like fun :) Thats why its a "training" course. So they do these things with targets that don't shoot back. As for you other three... once again I am reminded of the saying: "For those that know, no explanation is necessary. For those that don't, no explanation will suffice." 1revnrex 10-24-2008, 11:13 PM Right... Im not impressed with a couple of tacti-cool gear wearing SolidWorks nerds on a rifle course, period. Magpul isnt the greatest shit in the world. wotnartd 10-25-2008, 06:50 AM Thats why its a "training" course. So they do these things with targets that don't shoot back. As for you other three... Something I found interesting is not as appealing to someone with your interests. Wontartd rocks. Everybody has miscommnications, and sometimes it's necessary that in order to have a good relationship there be differences in opinion. It's all good. Supper 11-04-2008, 07:24 PM Magpul isnt the greatest shit in the world. Heh, so says the Tapco fan... |
