So, my Nighthawk (CB250) is my daily driver. I had read it would get 70MPG on average.

Some guy in GB said he got 90MPG highway, I didn't believe him.

I'd been driving it like crazy, always topping out gears and accelerating as fast as possible. When I checked at the pump I got a horribly disappointing 50MPG :-p

So I decided to drive conservatively just to see the MPG I'd get. I was not driving super conservative, I was just driving like a car, accelerating calmly, turning the engine off at long lights, and racing every so often.

I checked again at the pump . . . 200 miles . . . 2 gallons of gas . . . :D

Yay four stroke engines~!

turning the engine off at long lights
Thats the most retarded thing I've ever heard. More retarded then the guy that turns his diesel off at long lights.

Going to see about getting a KTM Supermoto for next summer, heard they do epic on fuel when ridden conservatively.
