My father is interested in selling it, hasn't been driven in over a year, and we are just wondering what it is worth.

Supper 05-29-2007, 06:34 PM We have a fully restored (just needs a 24 volt radio) M151A2 that has documentation of service in Vietnam including personally signed letters from a general and the mechanic (IIRC on the mechanic). My father is interested in selling it, hasn't been driven in over a year, and we are just wondering what it is worth. Animal 05-29-2007, 08:31 PM I dunno, i'd hold onto it if I were you. The fact that it runs well and the ONLY thing it's missing is the radio... unless there's a big reason you want/need to get rid of it, I'd hang on to it. Also, i'll ask around and see if anyone has connections to any old military radio equipment... There are a -lot- of old guys on some of the repeaters out here.... :P I know I have pics of that jeep somewhere... just can't find 'em right now :\ Terrh 05-29-2007, 09:13 PM I've wanted an old army jeep forever :( Hades12 05-31-2007, 09:27 AM Dont know, but a guy around here has one with the 60 mounted. I'd drive that shit every day. I wish those "crate" jeeps were real, I'd def. own one. Animal 06-01-2007, 07:31 PM aw man, that thing looks better with the top off. |
