Comming home from the Track thursday night i got into a tangle with a mustang. Dark color with Weld Draglites, no exhaust, and an imports suck sticker. After a min of him riding down the road jumping at me we got stopped by a red light. Heres where the conversation goes. My windows are down and he says &quot; you act like that car is all that&quot; and i said &quot;no i just know what it will do. I dont talk s### i bring it. I dont mess with others unless given a reason or messed with.&quot; Then the laughing from him and he says &quot; Well look at my car and look at yours. Plus this is a stoplight. You wont win.&quot; Then he reved his motor. By now im ready to tear a hole in his ass. When the light turns green i rolled it off the line riding the clutch a little at like 3500rpm. I hoped a few times and then tore into him at 4600 when vtec kicked in. I shifted at 8400 in 1st and his bumper was at my door. I shifted to 2nd pulled an additional 2 cars on him. I though it was pretty funn. Let off at 75 when i was shifting from 2nd to 3rd. Next light he wouldnt look at me then turned off. Do you know which body style of Mustang it was? &nbsp;Fox, 94-98, 99-present? &nbsp; &nbsp;The newest 4.6L isn't anything to sleep on with the correct driver. &nbsp;Magazines say they run low 14's, but a buddy o' mine hit high 13's at Commerce with his 99 GT. &nbsp;But then again, that is right up there with Ben.

The 99 and up GT at the street races i couldnt pass. I could barely stay beside him. It was a white one GT i think its 00. Those things are very bad! I love em. Very strong cars.

This one was a 94-95. Has the 3 horizontal lights and all. I was figuring to get blown away but had to try because his little smart ass sticker.

They arent bad. s### one of my good friends has one of the fastest if not the fastest street Stang round. But still...some of the dudes that only have Intake, Header, and an off road H pipe Blow! They can be so cocky. Who says Import people dont like Stangs? They think that so the are cocks to us!

eh the older foxes (87-93) were faster than the 94-95s. reason: 200-300lbs and 10 less hp due to a lower/redesigned intake manifold to fit under the newer bodystyles hood. the 96-97's were even slower (the early 4.6 blows ass), in 98 they started to pick up and then in 99 they got it going in the right direction. so beating a newer stang isnt nessecarly better than beaing an older one <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Ive beat many Stangs. Not reeally a thing to me. Older ones tend to be faster. 99 and up take the cake i love those things. I just posted this one cause dude was a c###. I figured it was funny. If you guys wana start a kill list well need another post...

tis just an FYI... most people think newer = better = faster
edit: whats your best et and such... i remeber talking to ya with matt a while back and remeber something like 13.9 @ 101 or so... thats enough to beat many stock GTs excpet some of the factory freak 99ups. cobras are a diffrent story, assuming theyre driven decently

quarter mile doesn't do Bens car justice really. &nbsp;Its a lot better from a roll. &nbsp;Keith (turbo EX civic) is the same way. &nbsp;Exact opposite for me with the old motor though. &nbsp;Both only run mid 14s, but have beaten proven mid 13 second cars on the street. &nbsp;Just proves that quarter mile isnt' everything when it comes to street racing. &nbsp;Heh heh, look at Supras.

yeah i know who that goes.. with the stock gearing my car blows at the 1/4 mile... its best from a 40-45 roll till around 120-125 as is... come this wed. (when i get a set of 3.27's put in) it will be alot better from a stop and should still be if anything better from those speeds

theyre underrated.. a few mustang magazines have gotten hold of em already. &nbsp;one unbolted the entire exaust after the headers and made 398 rwhp. &nbsp;the thing begs for longtubes and a full exaust

I just wish they would have went with a centrifugal blower instead of the roots blower. &nbsp;Guess I should just be happy theyre even making the 390hp Cobra.
