Hey guys. newbie to the forum here. long time member of mx6.com

i have, in my posession, a 1988 Mazda MX-6 GT and a 1987 Mazda RX-7 TurboII shell. i'm in the process of transplanting the F2T motor into the rx7.

COsborne did this a while back and i'd had this in my head for so long that when the right shell came along i just had to jump on it.

COsborne, we talked on aim a couple times. I'm here for any information you can give me. currently the motor is out of the mx6 and i'm picking up the rx7 shell tomorrow. i know i've got a long way to go but i'm just giddy thinking about that torque powering the correct set of wheels.

anyway. a little more about me.

i'm 22, have been into cars since i was a baby (seriously. ask my parents). i've had 13 cars in the past 5 years. a few of my favorites were my 2 turbo MX-6's, a 1988 BMW 735i, a 1987 Jaguar XJ-6, a 1979 Pontiac Catalina, and of course my current DD, a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0L.

I've spent more money on cars than anything else in my life and am proud of it.

So thats me in a nutshell. hope to get some good info on this project.
