Wow. So Parallels released their new beta of Parallels Desktop. Many improvements, one of which includes a "Coherence view" mode.

Ever since I got VPC on my iBook, I wanted to run windows apps in MacOS much the same way Classic apps ran in OS X. Parallels finally fulfilled that dream. I now have a windows "start bar" or whatever it's called, as well as the Mac OS "Dock". I can launch windows apps and have them run right next to MacOS apps.

This is fucking cool.

If windows apps run well, I may buy a mac.It runs win apps just as well as a pc would with the same specs, since Macs aren't Macs anymore. my 2-core 2GHz 512MB RAM machine runs win2k plus whatever else just as well as a 2-core 2GHz 512MB RAM pc would. Multisim simulates circuits pretty damn fast. I just need more RAM.
