How much more expensive is it to live there? If it cancels out; no thanks, I like living here. Although, I hear it is quite beautiful up there in the Fall... maniacmikey 10-23-2005, 09:40 PM It use to be real cheap but is skyrocketing with all the Cali's coming up and screwing it up for the rest of us.I bought my house ten years ago for 107k now the average price is over 200k up 24 percent in jusst the last year. clean85owner 10-23-2005, 10:06 PM We built our 1,800 sq. ft. house down here 11 years ago for $90,000 including the land, and the last time it was appraised, it was at $230k, IIRC. The house across the street, which is about the same size as my house, is for sale for $289k. Prices have gone up a bunch over the years, but it is still much cheaper than other areas, from what I hear. |
