So, this is the third company in less than 6 months that's owned my cable... I was paying for 3mbit service, which was ~400 kilobytes a second download, and somewhere around 60kilobytes up.

Well the changeover knocked my cable out monday night... the past 2 days it was extremely slow, made a call in last night. Long story, but the people made the change very shitty and unorganized... checked my speeds today:

I'm happy... the price better not go up though.

I'm convinced they rig it so dslreports and other speed tests take priority over other activities.

Well, typically speakeasy's tests have been very accurate with my bandwidth. I can test it there, then go load down bittorrent to the fact that I can't browse the net and it's usually dead on.

I took another screenshot last night... it was pretty amaznig...
