If you're looking for some good trails to rock that thing on try Palisades Park on Mt. St. Helena.
Assuming you're still in the Bay Area.

Then why did you buy an All Mountain Bike?
If you're not bombing through dowh hill rock gardens and doing lot's of technical decents you're pulling extra weight for nothing. How's the pedal bob on that thing?
And lol at your big jelly saddle.
Don't get me wrong, nice parts spec :) but you didn't really pay 6k for it did you?

Oh shit I just saw you've got the old XTR brake lever shifters they don't make anymore because nobody wants. You might like em, being used to STI's it probably seems somewhat natural.

That includes some downhills, but no cliff jumping or anything that crazy.
pedal bob is not that bad.
And yes, I did put that jelly saddle on there on purpose. The bike will be used by others that are not hardcore bikers when they visit me.
I got 40% off - Everything is brand new.

I heard that alot of "hardcore" folks don't like the dual shifters.
I didn't know that they stopped making them.

I've always thought they were kinda cool... But the movement felt really unnatural to me... You might really like em, roadie that you are...!
Pretty baller for a guest bike...!!!
Is that a suspension seat post too??? Omg so much squish!! I bet it's like riding on a cloud!
You had the bike built for you I take it?

All of my bikes and cars are either built or customized to my specs and looks.
I was just curious as to just how soft of a ride I can make.
And this was a successful project for the goal.
it does feel like a Cloud 9 - pun intended (rear shock)....
