my friend jordan's mom explorer(v8) runs a 10.5. which is pretty good considering it must weigh alot. &nbsp;
alot of hondas run 10s and 11s.

That sounds too logical to come from the brain of the MX7 founder. &nbsp;Im sure there are some secret plans for the Explorer. &nbsp;Just get a 5.0 motor and do a swap or have someone do it.

you can get a 351 Windsor from the junkyard and build it. &nbsp;All 5.0 parts work on it. &nbsp;You can build a 400HP Windsor for pretty cheap, plus everything should bolt in.....except for headers might be a problem.....but i woud look into it...A 5.0 would work too.....Oh, you would also have to source a tranny, but it would be phat to have an Explorer that would blow away most cars on the street......a nitrous kit would be cool too....and all 5 lug mustang rims bolt on.....Cobra R's.... &nbsp;I'll stop now, i almost bought an Explorer so i did a lot of thinking and research..... <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> &nbsp;<img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> good luck
