08-14-2002, 12:24 AM well...my rx7...hmm....BAH its still getting hot....if putting the stock fan back on doesnt fix it I will be buying a fluidyne and one of those really mean fans HighTachPrez 08-14-2002, 02:07 AM does the mean fan slap you around and force you to say "uncle"? <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> 08-14-2002, 05:22 PM My rx7 is so high performance I have to have a super high performance cooling system...POS vtec968 08-14-2002, 08:10 PM i thought u told me the other day it was running really cool 08-14-2002, 08:22 PM it WAS at night but not with the A/C on I just got home...put the stock fan back on and even left the shroud off and drove down lakeforest keeping it over 6000 rpm the whole way with the a/c on... never got past 1/3 thats pretty cool...it should be even cooler if I put the shroud back on today was very productive. made the car stop getting hot, pulled the harnesses out of the mx6 and put them in the rx7, took the torque converter off the F2T and cleaned the F2T. Im going to go back and replace a few things after dinner and fasten the harnesses in rxtasy 08-15-2002, 01:25 PM So, it was the fan after all. Glad u got it running cooler. |
