Stupid stupid car... My car has been making a noise near or around the rear end of the car for a few months now. I thought at first that it was my new tires. Last week I had all of them trued and rebalanced. The noise was still there. I also swapped out my rear two wheels/tires with my brothers' SS Camaro wheels and tires to see if the noise stopped. It didn't... This sound is only getting louder and more annoying by the week.

So, now I'm pretty sure it's a bearing of some sort in the rear end. Pinion, carrier, or axle... Good thing the car's still under warranty.

Not only that, but my clutch is really pissing me off. It's fine for street (read "normal") driving, but try to do any kind of hard track launch and the damn piece slips like it's the thing's job or something. That will most likely not be covered under my warranty, since the car has 22K on it. Oh well... 400 bucks for parts for that job.

This rear end noise is really a pisser. It sounds like a constant whirr whirr noise relative to mph. F'ing stupid GM.

My friends 1996 mustag Gt does that too. It made the awful noise until he finally took it to a shop. Turned out it was just his rotor. It was warped. But I am thinking that someone might have noticed it when they balanced the tires. Maybe not.

Aw, come come now. At least you dont drive a ford... My mustang leaked every fluid it held, didnt have reverse, did had a head liner, every interior panel rattled, had a slight electrical glitch... Don't bo to ahrd on your self, you could always drive a ford..
