vtec968 07-04-2002, 10:15 PM ok i got a air fuel ratio gauge that i got from my cuzin the prob is that im now sure what wire to tap into on the O2 sensor on his the purple wire from the gauge went to the purple wire on the O2 sensor.....i got a 95 LS motor if anyone knows which wire to tap into please let me know thanxs alot 07-06-2002, 06:03 PM are you connecting it in the engine bay at the O2 sensor or inside at the ecu? vtec968 07-07-2002, 10:57 PM engine 07-08-2002, 01:52 AM I assume you have a self heating O2 sensor...just tap into the wire that doesnt have constant voltage when the car is on....it should start out low voltage and get higher as the car warms up Epik 07-08-2002, 09:27 PM do you plan on tapping into it at the ecu or running it into the engine bay? i'll have to look in my FSM tomorrow to determine the pin location of the o2 at the ecu. If you want to go in to the engine bay..of the 4 wires.. two (same color) are from the heater. One is the signal, and one is ground. Of course you will tap the signal wire. Usually, the heaters are black, the ground is green and the signal is white. I hope this helps. GETuned Epik 07-08-2002, 09:29 PM when you tap the o2 wire, I reccomend soldering the connection. It is very susceptible to interference unless it is attached properly. Then wrap it well with electrical tape. GETuned 07-08-2002, 09:51 PM good point on the soldering...I forgot to mention that vtec968 07-08-2002, 10:45 PM aight thanxs yall |
