Alex-7 01-05-2007, 11:35 AM Just wanted to let you all know that I have decided to be a christian.
So far I love it.
I've been fucking this girl that goes to church and went with her last sunday. They had refreshments after the "talking" or what ever it's called and even gave me a bible. I also met two other bitches I intend to fuck very soon.
Seems that if I remain faithful I'll be getting laid every sunday night gratis from god untill it's my time to go to heaven.
I can't wait untill sunday :bigthumb:
Doughnut holes and little sluts dressed like "good girls" will get me out of bed with a hangover any time.

aznpoopy 01-05-2007, 12:47 PM this isn't particularly surprising
plenty of church goers local that i know describe it as more of a meat market than a house of god
sad but whatever
There's nothing but old people at my church, but then again I always go to 9:00 am mass.
aznpoopy 01-05-2007, 12:55 PM people i know of go to the 2:30 or 3:30 thingy on sundays
they started it up for kids who couldn't wake up that early

It kinda is.
I belive the vast majority of people who go to "church" only do it for social interaction, or for tradition, and then a few because they think it's what they have to do to get into heaven.
Some "churches" are better then others for this.
But remember, 'Church' NEVER reffered to a biulding, biblically. Simply a gathering.
Much like "Angel" just ment messenger, and "Baptisim" just literally ment immersion.
DarkAngelKamui 01-05-2007, 01:25 PM trash like this would deleted in about 2 seconds if I was the mod here
Actually, you have a point there, kemo sabe... This really doesn't have anything to do with religion, it's more of a mockery...
Off to STB with the likes of this one... lol

What do you mean "Debates"?
I recall you just nodding your head in agreement most of the time :P
Come over to my new place, food and freinds, you're always welcome here.
Tofuball 01-05-2007, 01:47 PM the ultimate tragedy is many of these people think they have a relationship with Christ, but they will hear "I never knew you, depart from Me" at the judgment
I don't think they "think" they have a relationship w/ God, I think they just have a strong feeling.
A key ingredient is the fact that they really DONT think about it.
Tofuball 01-05-2007, 02:01 PM The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
- Jeremiah 17:9
Tofuball 01-05-2007, 02:02 PM yep...same here
most young people do not attend church anymore, because they no longer see the Bible as true or relevant to their lives
so many "pastors" (really false teachers) have sold out to cheap entertainment and compromise with the world
My age demographic seems totally abscent from most churches :/
Xept one church I went to, but that went sour.
Cosby 01-05-2007, 02:19 PM My church is full of the future socialites of Spartanburg, SC
FDTHREES 01-05-2007, 03:35 PM Does it really matter, if someone goes to church to bang chicks or not?
Maybe god is using "bitchs" to lure the lost into church.
As long as they are there and can hear the word of God.
And who knows maybe find the holy spirit and change their life.
Going to church is 1/2 the battle. And Hot chicks are there..
So be it..
congradulations..
Where/what church you attend?? i may have to visit.
wotnartd 01-05-2007, 03:50 PM My church only does donuts once a month. Totally kills the incentive program. ;)
I liked my old pastor, he was cool, the new ones I know nothing about.
rtryb2200 01-05-2007, 06:08 PM Should this be in the religion forum:argue:
Tofuball 01-05-2007, 08:30 PM ^ +1!

And that's why you're not a mod.
Palumbo 01-05-2007, 09:14 PM I never got donuts once for the past 20 years of going to church.
I go because I want to and I want to thank God in his own house for what he has blessed me with; great friends, wonderful, caring, supportive, and understanding parents, and a good head my shoulders. Although, at my church there are girls who are attractive, but I hate the sight of beautiful women at church because it's a distraction to me during the mass and I would rather go to a church with old people than young kids so I can give strict concentration to God only and nothing else for one simple hour.
Palumbo 01-05-2007, 10:08 PM I did, but I feel more at place at a catholic mass. I know how you feel about catholics, along with alot of other people on the board, but I feel more comfortable when there isn't lots of singing of hymns, and I found that the offering of jesus' body and blood to be awkward cause they pass the bread and wine on plates.
Personally I just like to listen to the readings and gospels and reflect and just talk to God in my own way. I just feel more comfortable at a catholic mass, thats all. I tend to sit by myself just to be able to not have to say hi to people I know or make new friends. I noticed people are very friendly at Bible Churches, which is great and enjoyable of course, but I would rather just be left in peace during the mass.

Palumbo 01-06-2007, 10:28 PM the myriad of ceremonies and sacraments at catholic mass provide people with an external atmosphere of holiness, which is why the catholic church is so ostensibly "successful", but if the inner man is a mess, what good does it do?
-I feel that that is determined personally. I may go to a catholic mass and your statements on catholics may hold true for many, but through mass and my personal morals and beliefs, I feel happy inside and my faith is strong in God, no matter what. If someone were to hold a gun to my head and kill me for saying I believe in God, I would profess my faith without a doubt. I may not be perfect, I am a sinner in many ways, but what I have I owe to God, especially my life.
is that because you're not really interested in true worship?
- That may be the case, I just prefer not to sing out loud and clap my hands 'alot'.
eucharist is another (false) catholic doctrine....true communion is one of the two sacraments/symbols commanded in the New Testament, but it's not literal, of course...do this is remembrance of Me
- I never noticed that. Even then, it's still a celebration regarding Jesus' sacrifice for us.
do they teach the scripture, or just read a passage?
-After the 2 readings, there is a Gospel reading, and after the Gospel reading is the Homily. The priest reflects and breaks down the gospel for those attending mass.
that's not good
- Of course it sounds bad if you quote me like that, haha. Like I stated, I would rather be by myself and paying attention to mass rather then conversing socially about the day, which most people tend to do when they are with familiars.
you might be sitting in a tomb for your soul
- I don't understand, are you saying this because I prefer my Catholic Church over Bible Churches?
czarofzar 01-06-2007, 10:42 PM well said. Like truck drivers helped build America, Catholics helped build christendom.
Remember when the catholic church was letting people buy tickets to heaven, "indulgences"?
Or the witch hunts where innocent people were murdered.
Oh, what about the various people coming forward worldwide admitting to being raped in church by priests, and it seems like everytime I turn around the "youth pastor" somewhere is fucking some kid.
As mentioned, people go to church for social reasons, blindly follow the tradition of going, and some go just to create drama.
I don't want be around this shit period, much less have this crap be a part of something as important as a spiritual life. Churches are so far gone from what they're supposed to be that they've become a joke. If you truly want to seek God, I think the purest way is doing it personally.
Palumbo 01-07-2007, 01:26 AM I'll read into it.
the catholic system has a long, dark history...no question about it....it's a system of cathedrals, money, power, and greed that has very little to do with the message of Christ
that's an over-generalization, that are not all a lost cause...you can't just give up on the Church
the scriptures clearly state "forsake not the assembling of yourselves together"...it's supposed to be a Body, a Community
sadly, most modern churches are a far cry from the early churches cited in the Book of Acts (before the apostacy of Constantine about 300 A.D.)
You're the prime example of what kind of hypocritical judgemental pieces of shit are in churches that no sane person desires to be around. You do nothing but validate by statements above everytime you curse, condemn people, wish death upon people, and let the little dick syndrome flare up.
ok, I try to be nice and the 16 year old starts crying
YOU are a hypocrite....wanna know why? because you're the first to jump on anyone with your hyper sensitive whining drama, and you're the most negative, condescending little prick on this forum
Yes, I'm a hypocrite. I run around condeming people to hell, pointing out every little thing that everyone does wrong while doing the same shit myself, then claim I'm the almighty Christian meter and everyone is measured by me. Sounds like me, and not you...
The best whining always starts off with "I tried to be nice, but..."

How about christians bringing down the twin towers? Something that they are directly responsible for.
