" Ice " consists of a Sony cd player that changes colors I picked up off ebay, stock front speakers, some jensons i grabed out of a junk yard car, a home stereo " sub " in the trunk and a cracked front windshield.

A friend of mine has a 6 month old Apex'i N1 cat back exhaust im about to pick up from him for almost half price and some day I dream of a turbo set up. Either ka-t or SR, prob neither any time soon tho cus im broke.

The next thing I plan on doing besides that exhasut, is 300ZX calipers, brembo drilled rotors, and SS lines. Hopfully that pretty soon, cus my brakes are shot, and I dont wanna buy stock parts for some thing im gonna replace any ways...

any way its a work in progress like every one else's toys hehe

whatcha think ?

oh its fast top end.....

Ebay. Its a walbro (sp?) I think it was slightly over 100 dollars shipped. I bought it a few months ago when i had a turbo for the car, but couldnt afford a manifold or injectors. I also had a s-afc gen2 for it but I sold that and the turbo

I've been helping a friend work on swaping a WRX motor into a impressa, and hes got a complete 02 wrx totaled. and he gave me the shift boot out of it. I was able to make it fit on my car perfectly.....

the 91-94 sentra se-r, 95-98 200sx se-r, 98 sentra se, 99 sentra se-l, and the 2000+sentra se all came with a fwd sr20de. there is also an awd sr20det which some people swap into those models listed. the fwd trans bolts right up...that i know of, no one has converted to awd though

Frankin7

i think you mean there's an RWD sr20det.

Katana200sx

i didnt mention a rwd sr20det bc mark already mentioned it in his post. i did mean to say awd sr20det...it came in the pulsar gti-r, avenir, and bluebird overseas. the rwd sr20 wont drop into a fwd car even w/a trans swap

oh, my mistake. i didn't know they used the sr20 in an AWD car.

its cool...just like always when it comes to japanese cars, the states get screwed. there is also a sr20ve which makes around 175hp to the wheels n/a...uses neo vvl similar to honda's vtec only torquier...then theres a sr20vet which i have no idea how much power it makes

man if i only knew how to speak japanese i'd be living there. they have all teh best cars. there isn't an american production car that can compete with most of the high end j-spec production cars.

I disagree... Corvette Z06 ? Viper GTs? .... Jap cars sertaintly may have a more reliable history, but you cant beat the sound of a 400 hp n/a 8 cylinder engine. Nothing feels the same... not even high boost imports. An FD might be faster then a Vette, but when you punch the throttle in the vette, there is INSTANT torque, and alot of it. I've had 300zx , 300zx turbo, Mustang GT, 240sx, and I would probably take the mustang over them all. Nothing sounds as mean......

There are pleanty of american built sport compacts too... Like the SRT-4 for example... pretty bad ass car right off the lot if you ask me.. Its hard to get that kind of power and a warrenty for 20k...

Dont get me wrong tho, I love jap cars nonthe less, and we did get cheated on them. imo, the reason we never saw sr20 240s is becasue they would have been more popular then the 300z.... the 240 was marketed as a secetery's car.. Young lady on the way to work in her new sporty 240sx coupe automatic... Not hot rod 19 year old drifting it sideways into the school parking lot... If nissan had brought the 240 into the US market with a SR option and not charged 30 grand for them, it would be one of the most popular sport compacts out there.. take the Z for example. 300 hp, 2 seat sports car.. very capable. They charge 40+ grand for one new... if people want to spend 40+ grand on a car, the Z wasnt going to be their first option... If they had been priced comparable to mustangs, or camaros, they would have owned the market.

these are jsut my oponions oh well

too bad there will probably never be a s16 or a r35gt-r. there is a skyline in name in japan but its just a g35. japan got stricter on their emissions laws.

i see your point and know its your oppinion and i'm cool with that. after riding in turbo'd cars though, nothing tops teh feeling of hitting boost and being thrown back in the seat. i know that the V8 torque is instant but turbo's give much more performance possibilities in the sense that if you want more power, turn up the boost. of course you have to tune after that to not break anything but its that easy once you have the turbo.

this is just my view and oppinion and don't mean to piss anyone off with this.
