Hey guys.
I'm here to tell you that College of Charleston has an autocross team now. We dont have a name really as of yet but we're all pretty serious about the sport and love cars. As it stands at the time of posting our cars are:
Mustang Cobra
240SX (S14)
300ZX (Z31)<-- thats me
325I
M3
and by the end of the summer possibly an FD
yea well just wanted to let you guys know we're here.
welcome to IS. any mods to the cobra? what year m3?

No real news on the FD but the guy who said he was getting one knows you COsbourne. more than a few mods to the cobra and the m3 is i think a 01 or 02

Couple of us from Clemson are headed up to the CCR-SCCA race in Charlotte this weekend, though that's quite a hike for you guys in Charleston. Were any of you at the Summerville HS autocross a couple weekends ago?
One guy I know down at Charleston, Glenn Faken, is into autocrossing his Porsche 914 and/or MINI, and he regularly comes to Clemson's autocrosses as well.

Where / when do you guys meet? I would like to drop by and talk with you. Are you trying to start a club here to hold events, or travel elsewhere? I was the president of the Clemson club in 2003-2004 and would gladly help set up some stuff here.

i'd say nismo brought them over. but don't get me wrong, they're welcome, but an introduction would be nice.
most ppl meet at the firestone @ westgate fri and sat nights. quite a few ppl there some nights when i go not really that many from this site. i dont think anyone is trying to start a club, some ppl like racing, some like autox, some ppl like just showing their cars, various diff ppl.

Yeah well we being me the cobra driver and my friend without a car as we are the only ones who attend with any regularity meet in the lounge of the education center at the CofC downtown campus on wednesdays at 8

I will be attending CofC in the fall and im glad to hear that there are some car enthusiast out there!

Do you have aftermarket cams or stock? Im looking at some VT Stage IIs but dont know anything about modular stuff.
