OK, so lets say that you have a 4 cylinder fuel injected car. Now, a dry nitrous setup has the nitrous only (no additional gas) shooting into the intake manifold. Now, what happens if you add a fuel jet to it? Would that be the same as running wet?

Now, lets use that same idea on a carbed 12A. If you had a turbo carb hat, but with no turbo - would that be an effective way to add nitrous? To add the nitrous and gasoline jets to the carb hat itself. Ideas?

on a FI car, the dry setup is all u need. there's really no need to add a fuel jet unless ur running the stock ecu and u can't add the exta fuel needed.

i'm not sure how it would work out spraying above the carb. i plan on making a plate to mount under the carb if i ever make time to. that's actually the easiest and cheepest way for me. i just don't want to go thru the hassle of drilling and taping the intake.

See, I was thinking about making a Nikki plate but wasnt sure of how plates are actually built. I am sure that the fuel bar (not sure what else to call it - the thing that sprays the nitrous and gasoline mixture) is removable. I would assume so as it would need to be changed if higher shots were needed. I would like to use a 50 shot personally. I thought that a plate kit would be the easiest and cheapest way to go also but am not sure on how to make a plate. I searched for other plate kits that could possibly be adapted to fit under a Nikki but couldnt find any. All the normal setups were too large.

the bars as u call it r permanately afixed in the plate. the different jets r at the end where the nos and fuel lines connect to them. i'm sure those cheater plates can be bought, probably not cheap, but u'd probably have to redrill it for the stock carb pattern. where i work, we make different spacer plates for morosoe, and the one i have fits the holley pattern and has the same 4 individual bore size. it's just a matter of drilling thru the side for some tubing.
