bx7 10-02-2007, 04:21 AM The mods should invite him back to generate some activity here. wotnartd 10-02-2007, 04:53 AM You know, there is more to this place than your religion section, wherein you all play a theological version of king of the hill. bx7 10-02-2007, 06:05 AM You know, there is more to this place than your religion section,. Yes, I know, but I am stating that the religion section is a Ghost town with the absence of YZF. wherein you all play a theological version of king of the hill. And what's wrong with this? It's a forum. I'd rather think that I chip away the base of strongholds held by the deceived. skydivr7673 10-02-2007, 08:56 AM and I am quite certain that by telling everyone they are going to hell, or that he will stand on their grave and smile, or that he will watch them burn, or that they will worship him forever, or they will bow at his feet, or they are utterly worthless, or any one of the hundred other pathetic ramblings your hero favors, I am certain that by doing all of that, that you think he was chipping away too. In reality, he was driving people away and misrepresenting God. On the worthyboards forum, he took to the same bullshit. He decided that sending harassing and unprovoked PMs to another newer member was the way to go. That member has since questioned whether or not to even stay in that forum because marky follows him from thread to thread harassing him at every post he makes. There's "chipping away" for ya--driving yet another soul further from God. But hey, lets bring him back because in his eyes, and apparently in yours as well, the end justifies the means, right? Bullshit...pure bullshit. Yes, this section is dead now. Maybe thats for the better--I dont give a damn how much traffic it generates, the kind of traffic should matter to you. Pity that it doesnt. Quantity over quality wont work when it comes to God, bx....I thought you knew better than that. bx7 10-02-2007, 10:48 AM and I am quite certain that by telling everyone they are going to hell, or that he will stand on their grave and smile, or that he will watch them burn, or that they will worship him forever, or they will bow at his feet, or they are utterly worthless, or any one of the hundred other pathetic ramblings your hero favors, I am certain that by doing all of that, that you think he was chipping away too. Shout aloud his many faults, YZF was spot on with the message of the Gospel. adamfriendofadam 10-02-2007, 03:15 PM i'm just here for the beer... skydivr7673 10-02-2007, 04:31 PM God uses all people for his purposes. Even if we sometimes don't like what they say. Shout aloud his many faults, YZF was spot on with the message of the Gospel. still ignorant, I see.... news flash for you--this isnt about someone "not liking what he says". This is about his actions and how they very frequently go against the calling he claims to be on. It is about how he goes against God at every turn in the process of claiming to represent God. And while we all sin, he simply has such a passion for going after others that it becomes about him--about his pride--instead of about God. Listen to you--I just told you that he went outside the scripture, outside God entirely, and posted self-serving insulting harassing comments to someone who came looking for guidance, and you still think he has the Gospel spot-on. Well, he doesnt. For one thing, he believes he is in the right with imprecatory prayer, which is 100% contradicted by Jesus speaking in the Gospel about "love your enemy and pray for those that persecute you". That isnt spot on. It is false doctrine. And when confronted with this false doctrine, he makes the excuse that "it is a hard mark to attain, and I am only human"....but any other time, he insists that imprecatory prayer is acceptable to God!! He ADMITS that he is wrong but makes an excuse, only to still claim that his doctrine--the one that goes against that "hard mark to attain"--is correct. What a fraud.....trying to change what is in the Word for his own selfish purposes. But do go on, swing from the memory of his sack some more. For another, he has replaced the great commission in his own life with his own commission--to go out and show everyone how much he thinks he knows. People over there are using scripture without confrontational attitude towards him in several cases, and even then he is the same old ass. The guy that he was sending PMs to didnt even post to him--he started following that guy from thread to thread. That forum is moderated by many people, several of which are good christian brothers. And those christian brothers have had to close more than a half dozen threads of his. They have had to repeatedly warn him about his behavior. To date, he has received two "final warnings" by two different mods in the same thread, that he was about to be banned! From Christians, bx....so even you cant say they were just hating on him... If that is your idea of "Spot On", then yes, you would be right.:bigthumb: Manntis 10-02-2007, 04:37 PM YZF was spot on with the message of the Gospel. Where in the gospel does it say PM people threatening to shoot them in the head? $100T2 10-02-2007, 09:10 PM The mods should invite him back to generate some activity here. The mods are debating deleting the section. :) wotnartd 10-02-2007, 11:11 PM Now come on, kev. It's like a trap for Marky. He'll come back. slingshot. Cosby 10-02-2007, 11:53 PM I couldnt give two shits if he fell off the face of the earth. skydivr7673 10-03-2007, 08:09 AM  Where in the gospel does it say PM people threatening to shoot them in the head? I guess the end really does justify the means for that camp. "pay no attention to the man behind that curtain..." bx7 10-03-2007, 08:26 AM Listen to you--I just told you that he went outside the scripture, outside God entirely, and posted self-serving insulting harassing comments to someone who came looking for guidance, and you still think he has the Gospel spot-on. Well, he doesnt. Wrong! He does have the Gospel spot on. If he was here he would say the Gospel is this: All men have broken God's requirements in the law. No man can save himself. The only hope a man has is to repent and put their faith in Jesus Christ. This is the gospel. For one thing, he believes he is in the right with imprecatory prayer, which is 100% contradicted by Jesus speaking in the Gospel about "love your enemy and pray for those that persecute you". That isnt spot on. OK, I see what the problem here is. We have a difference of terminology. When I say "gospel" I mean specifically the gospel message, which is the news about man's state in relation to God and what the solution is. It appears as though your use of Gospel includes all doctrine and everything else written in the Gospels of M, M, L & J. I don't know crap about imprecatory prayer. Now let's get back to YZF. I think you'll have to agree that his view concerning the Gospel message is correct when compared with what's in the Gospels. But do go on, swing from the memory of his sack some more. Is this necessary? skydivr7673 10-03-2007, 08:37 AM Wrong! He does have the Gospel spot on. If he was here he would say the Gospel is this: All men have broken God's requirements in the law. No man can save himself. The only hope a man has is to repent and put their faith in Jesus Christ. This is the gospel. can you really be this foolish?? So he can SAY the right thing, but he doesnt ever follow it.....and despite the fact that he can only read it off a page and then tell it here, you swing away about him?? ANYONE CAN READ A PASSAGE. The Gospel was never intended as something just to be read, was it? But you miss this part consistently, just like he does. If he "gets" the gospel message so well, why isnt he living it? But then again, like I said, the end justifies the means for you. And I am not even sure exactly what that end is at this point, because the Gospel is in many ways a call to action, not just a call for hypocritical reciting. Again, what good is knowing the words when one so strongly refuses to ever put them into practice in his life? What good is it to tell others to follow the Gospel if you cannot or will not do it yourself? Why do you think that the entire premise behind this is to let your life be your doctrine, so that others can see what it is like to have God in their lives by looking at your example? SIMPLY SAYING THE WORDS IS FRUITLESS--TONS OF PEOPLE DO THAT EVERY DAY. And its high time you face the facts here--he sure can recite verses, but thats all he can do. Each time he is confronted with a part of that Gospel that he refuses to follow, he fires off the same convenient excuse about how "that is the mark of perfection which os few will ever attain", like that is sufficient reason to not even bother trying. "spot on"....yeah, sure.... Is this necessary? No, it isnt necessary, in fact it's rather disgusting that one can turn such a blind eye to reality the way you do. But youre the one who does it, so perhaps you should be asking yourself if it is really necessary to be so attached to some guy that's nothing more than the common fraud he always complains about others being. SERIOUSLY--he whines about all these televangelists and such--what separates him from any of them? They BOTH can rip off verses all over the place, and they BOTH willfully violate those verses constantly in their own lives, all the while thinking that they dont have to follow the Word any better than that. THAT is the person you have attached yourself to. Necessary? No, but you still do it. Good call. $100T2 10-03-2007, 07:54 PM Now come on, kev. It's like a trap for Marky. He'll come back. slingshot. If the Religion forum is what keeps him coming back, that really ices the decision to get rid of it. wotnartd 10-04-2007, 06:24 AM If the Religion forum is what keeps him coming back, that really ices the decision to get rid of it. You really liek the thought of him coming back again and again, don't you? Richter12x2 10-04-2007, 04:17 PM God uses all people for his purposes. Even if we sometimes don't like what they say. Shout aloud his many faults, YZF was spot on with the message of the Gospel. Possibly, but as far as Heaven is wide on the intent. :D $100T2 10-04-2007, 04:40 PM You really liek the thought of him coming back again and again, don't you? No, I don't. I hope he gets the idea and doesn't come back. czarofzar 10-18-2007, 04:23 PM There is no God nor magix, broomstick rider. Motivated for mean enjoyment, the religion section should be transferred to the smacktalk section where all garbage goes. Vert8813B 10-19-2007, 07:35 AM I follow the Fuck you Mark Strong Religion. Vert8813B 10-19-2007, 03:21 PM Hey...I just thought of something...Mark Strong is probably reading this and shaking his fist at us knowing he can't respond. certifiednut 10-19-2007, 10:14 PM me and the devil collect souls, but im hopin maybe i could get more than him, so when i go to hell i could be majority stockholder and have some say in what goes on |
