And where did they find a 1200cc 2 stroke?

1200's are run of the mill when you start talking modsleds. Most of them are triples, but more are going to twins. Hell, it only takes a small overbore to get the OEM 1000cc engines to 1200+. there are some 1350, 1720, and a 1900+ or two floating around out there in snowmobiles.

As for the story behind that video, its a practice run with a new "stutter" ignition getting ready for the Haydays grass drags. Its looking to be a world record run (current is a 4.07ish) once it gets on official time.

those pipes aren't too expensive, you just pick up a set of raw stampings from Jaws or SLP or one of those companies and take them to your pipefitter/engine builder. They can usually ponder out the size/shape/etc from a few calculations.

I'm hoping to get a custom set made up for one of my sleds yet this year, now that the Toy of the Month shall return ;) Actually, its just going to allow me to finally finish a few projects that I ran out of time/money/patience on.

One of these years I'm going to drag my ass to Haydays, heard its the best place to be during the summer if you are a sled nut.

I'm pretty pumped, this is the 1st year I get to go,having weekends off is nice!. From what I have heard it is deals galore of dealers trying to dump stuff...pretty much anything you need or didn't think they made they have it there
