So how often do all ye e-thugs get down with teh booze? :40oz: I make this thread as I am about to head over to my favorite bar for dollar beer night... cannot beat dollar drafts.... Ark2 05-28-2008, 08:51 PM Not too often for me. Although the I've gotten drunk the last two weekends. wotnartd 05-28-2008, 08:54 PM Maybe a beer every other day. Last weekend I went through a twelve pack of Amber Bock. This weekend, I've got some Cherry Dr. McGillicutty and blue UV headed toward my face hole, hopefully. DRUNKITY. I hope. I need a good drunk. Ark2 05-28-2008, 09:00 PM Vert will probably chime in soon about how many cherry coolers he drinks in a week. wotnartd 05-28-2008, 09:03 PM I spend WAAAAAAAAAAY too much on beer. Always trying new craft brews, it's an expensive hobby. $8-20 per week, almost every week. Ark2 05-28-2008, 09:04 PM I spend WAAAAAAAAAAY too much on beer. Backwoods bars have good prices on bombs, too. I usually don't go out, though. Not a fan of the smoke. http://www.packerpalace.com/multimedia/Lewis-Black-on-Wisconsin-Drinking.mp3 “I love Wisconsin. I love coming here. I’ve performed here, uh, a lot because I’ve discovered that you people apparently have some sort of federal grant for drinking. You’re insane! You pay less for liquor than anybody I know anywhere else in the country. Nobody pays less for liquor than you. What are you, what are you - ha, HOW? I don’t know if you’re using that farm subsidy money or if you’re just hijacking liquor trucks, but this is fuckin’ insane. Is it volume? It’s unbe-fuckin’-lievable! It’s staggering! I come here because basically, if I spend four days drinking here, even with the plane ticket, it’s cheaper than drinking in New York. How do you know when it’s New Year’s? That’s the big mystery to me. What’s the difference? I’ve been in bars here, and it’s like New Year’s every fuckin’ night! (Imitating a Wisconsinite) Oh, New Year’s, that when we, uh, drink with hats on. I’ve been drunker here than anyplace else I’ve ever been in my life. And remember this: You are NOT, you are not alcoholics. You, and, my hat is off to you, you….are professionals.” The fact that I'm a professional gives me an employee discount. :) Ark2 05-28-2008, 09:31 PM 3-4 bucks a beer is cheap? bottle or draft? Queen 05-28-2008, 09:33 PM like a glass of wine or two once a month on average Ark2 05-28-2008, 09:35 PM red or white? You should know Guido. Vert8813B 05-28-2008, 09:48 PM Cheapest we get around here are $10 pitchers. Yeah but 4 dollar pitchers of bud, bud light, and coors light. Basically, you pay to drink piss imo. A pitcher of a finer beer like Becks or Spaten runs you about 14 dollars. Ark2 05-28-2008, 09:49 PM Pitchers? We just get a hose on a tap and five minutes. The intent is for it to be more social, rather than just getting instantly shit-faced. wotnartd 05-28-2008, 09:57 PM The intent is for it to be more social, rather than just getting instantly shit-faced. See my Lewis Black quote and the media embedded. One night at a bar, I had three drinks in front of me, a beer, a Jaeger bomb, and a white Russian, I paid for none and drank all three back to back. D-Rock 05-29-2008, 09:35 PM being a total drunkard takes dedication and planning... if only i would apply this much effort in other aspects of my life... would be like dividing by zero and shit... about time for another 4:1 night followed by college night at another bar... my bar-tending friend yelled at me sunday for not making it out there for a few weeks... Show up around 8, grab a beer, get my computer and move into the conference room... play quake or watch movies all morning... company usually brings in lunch or we have a sober person do a food run... Haven't done it in a few weeks though. :\ dano670 05-30-2008, 06:12 AM I probably drink 3 to 4 nights a week. I probably spend near $1k per month at the bar. Unfortunately, my closet drinking buddy is Scottish, so some early nights when you go to watch a football match, turn into 5AM rather quickly. There is a bridge about a 1/4 mile from my apartment that the people here takeover every Friday night. (on Thurs and Sat too, but less). Everyone sits down on this walking bridge and drinks beer, wine. Last time I walked, I estimated the crowd to be maybe 2000+. BYOB is much cheaper than the bars. hotholly 05-30-2008, 09:09 AM i always know when i've had enough... i fall over:40oz: this is me doing some getting ready to fall over practice rtryb2200 05-30-2008, 08:56 PM Either or.
