Kyan turns 4 next Monday. (Holy shit, 4 years... I still remember posting on the Club when he was born...)

Anyway, he has been asking and asking and asking for a firetruck birthday party.

So, we get the firetruck cake, the firetruck hats, the firetruck plates, etc... I decide to shoot the town FD an e-mail asking if it would be even slightly possible for a couple guys to drive by for the party... The Chief just wrote my back saying he'll send one of the big trucks and some of the firemen over.

How fucking cool is that?

Kyan also asked for Kevin Garnett from the Celtics to come to the party. I sent him a letter a few weeks ago, haven't heard back. I figure hey, you might as well ask. Worst case, he doesn't come, and I am out a stamp. Big deal.
