nathantheman 09-05-2008, 09:07 PM i saw this young dude today drive by in his shiny new Muchialago, and he must have had custom exhaust, cause when revved his pipes, i nearly tipped my shopping cart full of empty bottles that i live beside. And it got me thinking, who the fuck is this guy that buys a brand new Lambo, mods it, and drives around during business hours???? i wanna be him! Can we regular joes ever get to be super wealthy without the obvious win lottery/pro sports/inherit? Is there something i can go to school for that will guarantee my HUGE success, assuming i dedicated 100% and was smart and open minded? I know it sounds stupid, but im serious. If suppose we sacrifice everything, do we have a chance? lets hear your plans! clean85owner 09-05-2008, 09:38 PM No. jshiz 09-05-2008, 10:21 PM HELL NO! Fixed. However, if you're one of the people who manages to go "from rags to riches" than you're probably NOT going to spend money on an overpriced Italian sports car. No, you'll probably have a 7 to decimate all, and a civic hatch to drag your ass around in. RyanFlemington 09-06-2008, 04:03 PM lamborghini murcielago** you have 4 posts, you're in no position to be correcting people. Escort 4dr. toyo7 09-07-2008, 12:56 AM sell your sperm and blood plasma. there was a guy from the u.s. who sold his blood plasma for a few years to save up enough money to take a trip to the 2006 world cup. he actually saved enough to go over to germany, get a hotel, and go to a good amount of games! nathantheman 09-07-2008, 05:38 PM Well first you'd have to seal a lot of underpants...... underpants, then something, = profit! it makes so much sense! lol but im not talking about spending all your money on a stupid car, i mean being rich enough, that buying the veyron or reventon or whatever dosen't even affect your financial situation. i mean, the way we'd go buy an ipod now. "mmm i want this, ok grabbed it. put it in my garage with my ferrari 250 gto" dg123 09-08-2008, 11:27 AM ...cause when revved his pipes... I didn't know you could rotate pipes in such a manner.... On a serious note, its really basic stuff to be able to get to where money is no object; cut luxury items, save like a mad man, and find ways to make more money. If this means living at home with your parents till you're 35-40 while working two full-time jobs and finding something on the side to bring in more cash so you can get that lambo you have always wanted, then thats what you gotta do. As 'easy' as that may sound, its not something a lot of people are willing to sacrifice. I am willing to bet people like Bill Gates, Donald Trump, and a lot of other "new money" big wig millionaire/billionaire types spent a good portion of their late teens until they were in their 30's saving, investing, and working like crazy to get to where they are today. In a world of electronic gadgets, relatively cheap cars, and home furnishings, it's all too easy to spend money on depreciating assets for that instant gratification. It's even more difficult to control spending when you don't actually have to pay in full up front since credit companys will give away credit cards with high interest rates to anything with a pulse. This makes it all too easy to buy something outside of your own financial capacity. nathantheman 09-08-2008, 12:57 PM yeah you're right, fuck, i don't want to sacrifice! i just wanna be BALLIN. lol dg123 09-08-2008, 02:06 PM I agree. Gold collar FTW!! :lmfao: |
