$39.99 a month for 450 anytime minutes (We will not be using all of the time since we have a house phone) Free night and weekends

I haven't had a cell phone in over 4 years, but I've been feeling the need for one lately. I'm rearely home and it would be a hell of a lot more convenient.

Please tell me exactly how you feel. I want to know if there is a better deal out there or if I'm just asking for trouble.

The last company I had would charge me an extra $10.00 a month in fees without going over my minutes. Do they still do this?

450 anytime minutes? Thats it? I'd expect atleast 800 minutes from a 39.99 plan.

There is a plan that gets you 900 minutes, but that's $59.99 and I don't feel like paying that much on a cell phone.

So, should I stay away from this deal???

I think it's an okay deal.

We got a 39.99 plan with 600 anytime, unlimited weekend, unlimited weeknights, free Razr (plus i think 50 dollars so that means they paid us 50 bucks to choose that specific phone with the plan). T-mobile. My mom chose a Slvr but they only gave us 20 bucks for it.

Dont they all give you a free phone when you sign up for a 2 year plan? I know they do around here. That deal seems right for my neck of the woods, Dont know if things are different over there.

You gotta check with your dealer though. Some dealers offer different phones for different prices. Don't go to a T-mobile store since they usually charge you more.

My room mate is a dealer for Verizon so if you want that phone let me know and i will see what kind of deals he can work out with you.

Well I think Verizon is the best provider. But what ever you do DON'T get an LG Chocolate phone. I have had two of them thinking my first one was bad but it wasn't. The phones just aren't any good.

Son of a bitch! I wish I would have waited a little. I got the Chocolate phone for her on Sunday (SHE REALLY LIKED IT) before reading Tony, Spartan and Amishboy's responses.

Ah well didnt want you to get a good deal on phones anyway. What did you pay for it anyway. My roommate tried to get me to switch and offered the phone to me for free.
