Iraq is not being allowed to participate in the games this year.

Their athletes were late in signing up (they got a standing ovation when introduced back in '03, before we fucked Saddam up). Kinda sucks that they had other things on their mind, and the ones who survived (less than 10) can't compete now.

actually i am kinda weired when it comes to the american team, if the aussies fail i am sad and sadder still when we lose to them (baseball and basketball mostly) but i am happy when both sides flog the other countries

i have to say your mens swim team is freaken phenomenal just wow, our swimmers have had to really lift their game to be awesome. That Michael Phelps omg do we need to drug test him (it's a joke,) that man is like a god damn fish, his technique is amazing

You know, I find it hard to believe people complain about them being too young. It's one thing if somebody lies about their age and puts a 14 year old into a 10 to 11 year old baseball team, but when the younger competitor is kicking ass with the older ones, I fail to see an issue.
