Video, clicky clicky (http://s81.photobucket.com/albums/j211/4Zsnow/?action=view¤t=running22.flv&refPage=&imgAnch=imgAnch3)
Just imagine a 125lb, 1300cc all aluminum rotary with electric intake valves for port timing. And say a mear 100lbs of torque at 1800 rpm? Then double everyting on output witha 10psi from a turbo.....................can ya dig????
Testing so far in the sled format:
-300grams of weight
-6500RPM
-miser on fuel and minimal if any smoke (burns two stroke oil, no sump)
-1.6:1 gear case ratio is too short.

supper doesn't emphasize the important points
1.3 liter rotary
all aluminum
125 lb. core
electric valve controlled port timing
150-180hp @ 6800 rpms
develops 100 ft/lbs of torque by 1500 rpms
turbocharged @ 10psi : est. 300-400hp.
just imagine if you put that thing in a car. if i dropped it in my 240sx, i'd have to cut off the trunk to maintain 50/50.

Oh, I was under the impression that this was a new rotary snowmobile. It is a new rotary snowmobile, the engine has been under development for a while.
so why did you decide to let them know now Supper?they went public with it a few days ago, figured I might as well share.
and poopz, for a snowmobile it isn't a 125 pound core, its a 125 pound everything. There isn't any transmission on a sled other then the clutches as you can see in the pictures.

So the engine is new... then I think a similar one should be designed for bikes. New rotary motorcycle. Is that idea -that- farfetched?

Kinda makes me think of the rotary golfcart I want to build. I think it's gonna need a cage though.
