Hi Dave.

-Yes the apartment is still available at the moment, but there are a couple other people interested so I do not know for how long.

-The rent is $345 per month due on the 1st of each month plus half of the utility cost (about $75 for gas, electric, and water combined). There is no security deposit needed.

-A cashier check would work just fine.

-I'm currently living in the room that is being sub-leased out. I am a student at Ohio State University and I'm moving to San Francisco for the summer for a temporary position at a new and growing ISP named Web-Pass. She would be sharing the apartment with my roomate, so I assume you would like to know about him as well.

He's 25, some college under his belt but currently just working. He's a quiet guy and isn't the party type. He's into computers, video games and such. Doesn't do drugs, or drink unless he's out at a bar.

How long does you niece plan on staying, for the full term until the end of September?

yes most health care is covered free by the 'national health service' over here, only people with additional health care insurance or a works scheme go private... and then of course it's paid by the insurers not the idividual... sounds very much like a fiddle to me, he/they want your full details for some identity theft scam or some such... or maybe want a list of vacant property in your area for some other fiddle.

note his english pronunciation in the first email in particular is very foreign sounding... "i will like to know" etc... sounds a bit like the weird chinese translation on instruction leaflets doesn't it... "first the main switch you will on put".
