It's potent. Kinda bland, but alright, perhaps a slight caramel flavor. VERY CARBONATED.

I didn't have any fridge space so I kept it in the basement.... bad idea. It's my first time, what can I say? It's in the fridge now, doesn't hold the carbonation too long, but I'm sure it'll work itself out.

I can really taste the alcohol in it.

was the caramel flavor on purpose or by accident?

It's the finish of the ale flavor, so it just is there.

I'm going to be homebrewing for the first time as soon as I can find something to replace the missing gasket on the water trap. I'm all set to go with a Cooper's Real Ale kit. mmm

I've home brewed for last 6 years ... best results with coopers - though Cascade also do a good drop.
I'd recommend their mahogany ale ... but nothin beats the coopers stout ...

Anyone used a creamer for that Guiness like head???? ... I'm not kidding they DO sell em ... and I'm not talkin one-handed here either ;-)

cheers
