ok my cars turbo is acting funny,i have very little power? i know it is overboost,what ever the hell overboost is so if you know what overboost is let me know(chris)or anyone else that has a turbo that really knows what it is and what i can do to fix it! Ill be here all night! :dunno:

this guy that knows everything about cars must either not want to give away any secrets or insists on making money to fix ur car. maybe i should go see him about the engine in my car, seems to have a burnt valve.

well if he dont even really no what is wrong with his car how is he supposed to ask someone to help him fix it. i can say that i have a blown motor but if i dont no what that is then how do i get someone to tell me how to fix it...

if you have very little power, you have very little boost.

1. your exhaust is cloged, mainly the cat
2. your wastegate is not shuting completely because of age
3. you got a bolt or a peice of tissue stuck in the impellor and now the fins are striped out creating no boost
4. you have a very large exhaust leak
5. the vacuum hose to the wastegate has come off

by the way, i beleive overboost is when your cars computer system either shuts down the injectors or spark plugs because the car has in fact "overboosted" meaning the car has exeeded the set boost limit pressure from the factory, this doesnt sound like you problem....because it would be a quick loss of power but would return to normal. i did it in my car a few times, then i got a different set of e-prom chips to get rid of the overboost limit.

the wastegate line cracking or missing would cause overboost, not underboost. The rest are valid ideas. He doesn't have any idea where to start looking since he doesnt even know what or where the wastegate is

it was not overboost you dumb_fucks it was a fu(kin rip in the top intercooler hose!!! Go figure!!! i noticed it today when i was checking the vac. lines . it is fixed NOW!! thanx ne way!
