Paris Hilton claims she is as good an actress as Oscar-winner Charlize Theron.

The sexy socialite insists she is easily as talented as the screen beauty, who won the Best Actress prize for her performance in 'Monster', and says the pair will soon be competing for the same roles.

She said: "My acting coach told me I have a similar style of acting to her so we may end up vying for the same parts."

However, the blonde beauty failed to set the box office alight with her first big screen outing, the teen-horror movie, 'House Of Wax', which flopped.

Meanwhile, Paris is set to play Mother Teresa.

Indian director T. Rajeevnath wants the hotel heiress to portray the saintly charity worker in a biopic on the nun's life.

Rajeevnath got the idea to cast Paris in the unlikely role after being impressed by her when she refused to strip off for Playboy magazine.

He said: "My agents in California have contacted Paris Hilton."

Despite the film-maker's eagerness to cast Paris - who inadvertently appeared in her own X-rated home movie, 'One Night In Paris' - the sexy star will have to battle it out with several other actresses to land the part.

Rajeevnath explained: "Although there are a number of actresses willing to play the role of Mother Teresa, the history of the actress who is finally chosen for the role would have to be analysed thoroughly."

Please tell me this is a joke. Impressed by refusing Playboy??....the director must be a bigger idiot than Paris.

She's about as bright as a 10 watt light bulb, so no need to sit in a dark theater to see her in a film.
