neat, do you think the new illstreet watermarks are obtrusive?

good, the photos use some bandwidth and I just wanted to get a little out of it. Also, people were stealing them off google images. My code doesn't actually alter the photos so no one has to worry about it changing their pics. The way it works is pretty cool. I used imagemagik to create a cached file that is served by a dynamic page but that made a problem by having a link that wasn't well-suited to post on message boards. I solved that by writing a mod_rewrite rule to convert the crappy url to another one that looks like it is just a straight image. blah blah now you're smarter

You also put them in a spot that would be easy to crop or edit out...

I should move them then
put them across the middle :) or vertical up the side.
