It is running way rich. I figured it would lean out a bit more than it has. rxtasy 04-07-2005, 11:05 AM if u still don't have the turbo piped into the intake yet for break-in reasons, it will run rich. someone on the 7 board running similar setup but n/a, u could get what injector setup they're running, it'll give u somewhere to start alot quicker than trial and error on ur own, if u DO plan on running it w/o the turbo during break-in. Cosby 04-11-2005, 09:35 AM Well, Mark and myself suffered a great loss. The combination of our efforts, a glorious downpipe, fell to the evil RX-7 after a great battle. The downpipe tried hard to not leak but it was no match for the hot rotary exhaust and it will be laid to rest next weekend and replaced with a new, one piece bent downpipe that has a flange that will actually bolt up. preludedude 04-11-2005, 12:36 PM Well, Mark and myself suffered a great loss. I'm going to have a guy I know bend one for me so it doesn't have 86 welds in it like ours. I actually went back and rewelded all of the welds and then cut the top, lined it up, surfaced everything and rewelded it. The tolerance is close but the flange is just too crappy to not leak. In any case, I'm spending about $300 on piping next week and taking another trip to the truck junk yard ;) |
