umm...did you install one?

i doubt they came w/ one stock.

if it's a manual...then it will controlled by a valve on the vaccuum line from the hot side of the intake to the actuator on the turbo.

if it's an electronic...then it's probably gonna be inside

here is the picture of the boost control solenoid. You have to remove it and mount it the opposite way to access the screw on the back that adjusts boost.

am I reading correctly??? are you saying the the stock boost solnoid can be adjusted to run higher boost....if so then why do so many mx-6'ers and probe owners buy aftermarket boost controllers???

1) not many people know about it
2) its not the best way to turn up the boost
3) you can only turn it up so far

oh ok, The stock solnoid must be controled by pressure and overcomming spring tension?? which is why it can be adjusted, to give more spring tension or less??? am I on the right track here??

Sometimes solenoid won't react by turning the screw.
Old bad or what not.
I removed mine.
Replaced it with a Home depot type boost controller, details on How to make the controller is on my website.
