(http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-Trucks___1970-Chevy-Camaro-Big-Block-502-NO-RESERVE-AUCTION_W0QQitemZ300290710563QQddnZCarsQ20Q26Q20Tr ucksQQddiZ2282QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?ha sh=item300290710563&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=65%3A-1|39%3A1|240%3A1318) Man, there are some nice ass cars going on Ebay nowadays. People are selling their toys left and right. $100T2 02-04-2009, 02:08 PM Not anytime soon. The stuff I want is muy expensive. Like that Challenger. Alex-7 02-04-2009, 05:47 PM I think the early water cooled 911s are a amazing buy right now. Here's a quick example I found: cheap 911 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-Trucks___99-Porsche-Carrera-2-Coupe-Aero-Pkg-6-Speed-27k-miles_W0QQitemZ300290945378QQddnZCarsQ20Q26Q20Truc ksQQddiZ2282QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash =item300290945378&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=65%3A7|39%3A1|240%3A1308) Plain jane ones are under 20k with good miles. You'd never loose any money and they'd last forever. $100T2 02-04-2009, 06:33 PM That's a hell of a deal for that kind of money. I can't believe the money people still want for Supras. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-Trucks___1994-Toyota-Supra-Twin-Turbo-Low-Miles_W0QQitemZ260348058666QQddnZCarsQ20Q26Q20Truc ksQQddiZ2282QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash =item260348058666&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=65%3A3|39%3A1|240%3A1318 $42,000?!?!?! Steel 02-04-2009, 07:01 PM OH that challenger is BA. I'd like to see someone stuff a V10 into a barracuda though, or roadrunner! $100T2 02-06-2009, 08:40 PM Yeah, the roadrunner would be a great choice, tons of room under that hood. Steel 02-06-2009, 09:38 PM Yeah, the roadrunner would be a great choice, tons of room under that hood. You ain't kiddin! You could probably fit TWO of those v-10's end to end in that enigne bay... Imagine a V-20 roadrunner! It'd be the quickest car from gas station to gas station! wotnartd 02-06-2009, 09:41 PM You ain't kiddin! You could probably fit TWO of those v-10's end to end in that enigne bay... Imagine a V-20 roadrunner! It'd be the quickest car from gas station to gas station! Strap a supercharger and turbos on it, too. Make it sound like a jet ready to take off. Steel 02-07-2009, 12:08 AM Speaking of jets.. what was that car that was made back in the 60's or 70's that had a gas turbine as the powerplant? The local extermination company has different old cars (bel-aires, this turbine car i think, old cars from the 30's) out on display in front of their locations throughout the city (Truly Nolen. czar knows what i'm talking about, the jet car is on wilmot and 22nd i believe). Anyway... yeah, i'd love to get my hands on that jet car. Idle? 15,000 RPM. Full throttle? 40,000RPM. Eat that, rotary! czarofzar 02-07-2009, 12:17 AM maybe this? http://images.thetruthaboutcars.com/2008/06/1963_chrysler_turbine.jpg Steel 02-07-2009, 01:22 AM Oh. well that's the jet car, but that's not the car that's outside of that truly nolen location. Oh well. I'd still like to have a jet turbine pwoered car. |
